http://rss.mylot.com MyLot Hot Topics for the Day en-gb http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2056718.aspx I got good news, you guys know the pressure I have been under about moving and afraid that I would be on the street on the lst of july, then the landlord said he couldn't leave because I told I couldn't find a place, and therefore my lease had to continue, but he wanted 100 dollars more a month and I said I could not pay that which I couldn't and so we were under so much stress, that I was literally too ill even to stay up during the day, he said he would think about lowering the amount he wanted, but he never got back to me, well tonight he did come back with an offer instead of 100 dollars more it was gonna 30 dollars more and I said that was too much. And so he said okay for this year he will leave the rent the same as it is and he will fix the back yard I am so amazed and happy. Next year he said to be prepared for the big raise since he is not going to do any repairs this year it will be all done next year. I will worry about next year when next year comes, but for now I am happy. Finally after three full months of stress I can relax again. so what is going on in your lives, anything bad or good happen to you recently? My daughter is starting college in North Carolina in August. The college expects her to have medical insurance and has sent her details of cover that costs $283 a semester or $56 a month. I have been up since 6:32AM! I will probably go to bed after I finish going to TrekPay and clicking out 30 or 40 sites so I get my days credits in. That should take me about an hour. So I should get to sleep about 4:30am. Then I gotta get back up at 8:00am cause I got to be at the docs at 9:00 am and I won't get to be till the same time tonight. Now I figure for my age that is pretty darn good and I go like that every day. And I am sick. I just have to wear myself out in-order to get any sleep. The pain is so unbearable I can't sleep. This was to encourage people to buy and use the re-useable bags. A friend on Yuwie had brought this up in his blog also, so I started stocking up. I now have six green re-useable bags. That way I usually still get a few paper or plastic ones to take home, since I have a use for a few of them. Sometimes I forget to bring the re-useable ones out of the car and don't feel like going back to get them. Two weeks ago I noticed that the store was giving me a 50 cent credit for each re-useable bag. So, what do you think about the idea of a bag tax? Re-useable bags? Would you remember to bring them with you when you go shopping? For example that guy who keeps on posting his $5 instant ad, then use the excuse that he has no other choice. Honesty will bring him more money online than scamming, which I see as criminal. Then there is the member who copied another post as his own. This is criminal. MyLot is a very good site and we should not allow criminals to get away with such acts. My advice is, do not respond because if the post gets deleted, you loose. Rather just report the offenders and lets spend our time responding to the honest members' posts. Mylot is for our enjoyment, not a place for criminals.
