It don't let us now that we have been online for much time and it can pass our whole day time without boring us. Its a great place for me to get entertained. I spend most of my time online and its a nice experience for me to socialize my life, connect with friends and relatives and much more.
Is internet same for you as it is for me? Do you also enjoy your online time? Is it also the most entertaining place for you?

If not myLot. What?

If you were to leave myLot where would you go? Would you stay social networking or seek a complete change? How would you tell your friends here that you were going, or wouldn't you bother. Is there anything, other than the money, that you would miss?

Do you watch television shows that are produced in a different country?

Since my personal challenge to go without TV for one month is over, and I did pretty good, its time to check back in and see what's new on the tele. There are a few shows that I've found that are set in a different country, my kids watch a show on Nick called, "H2O", its set in Australia, I also watch a couple of tela novels, (spanish soap operas), and Torchwood, I think its set in England. Are there shows that you watch that aren't set in your country?

Do you respond to one line discussions?

I get so many of those in my mailbox. Do you like to travel? What kind of dog do you like? Do you drive a car?

I think those are a waste of time and show disrespect for myLotters. Someone is obviously here just to make money and won't take the time to begin an honest discussion. I realize that some people who don't speak English have a hard time expounding on their thoughts but one line shows a total lack of involvement.

What do you think? Do you respond to these? I though one liners weren't allowed?

Excuse me, I'm tired and crotchety today so maybe I'm complaining too much. Let me tell you what happened.

I was downstairs on my computer when my twins came downstairs shreiking, "there's a spider in our room!". Ok not a big deal! We have a variety of spiders around here and sometimes they get in the house. Normally they are your garden variety spider. Since I am usually the only adult home I am the designated spider slayer. I have a trick that works with just about every spider I have ever encountered so I grab my normal spider slaying weapons and head upstairs.

I get to their room and there it is! This thing is no ordinary spider. This is spiderzilla. LOL OK still just a spider. My secret weapon is a spray bottle of 409 cleaner. It normally stuns the spider long enough for me to splat it with a shoe. Well I gave spiderzilla a spray and instead of stunning it it made the spider psycho. I mean this thing went nuts! It reared up on its back 6 legs raising the front 2 legs up in the air like an attack pose and then it made a lunge straight at me. It was mad and it was coming after ME. If my spray bottle were a pistol i would have emptied the clip because all I could do was spray it repeatedly as a quickly tried to back away. Finally, after 5 feet of backing away, only 1 foot from being cornered and a nearly empty bottle of 409 I decided it was me or it and it wasnt going to be me. I doused it real good and moved in to strike. I dont really remember much during the splatting. I think I might have blacked out for a second because I remember my oldest grabbing my arm saying "momma, its dead". I guess after the first strike I kept splatting it over and over until there was nothing left of it.

Well, I got the little ones back to bed and thought I too would go to bed but I couldnt sleep. I was plagued by the image of psycho spider. I got up to research the spider on the internet and much to my horror it was a brown recluse. That was enough information to keep me from sleeping all night. I was up and down all night checking on the kids to make sure their room wasnt infested by deadly spiders.

So have any of your worst fears ever come real?
Have you ever been attacked by a non human creature?

*trying to get rid of my star so please minus this discussion and any comments left by me here - thanks*

How many times do you check your email inbox?

As we all know that mylot notifies us when anything new happens. It may be receiving any response, comment, friend request, message or any other event. Its good to see the mails in our inbox. But I am interested in knowing that how many times in a day, do you check your email inbox for the notifications sent by mylot?
As I am online here most of my free time, so I usually check it about 25 to 30 times a day. What's about you? How many times do you look for the emails sent by mylot?

I'm not "tagging" anymore, I'm so tired of it!!

It takes time and effort and when I'm replying to someone, what's the sense of it? I'll tag my own discussions so people can see what it's about but that's it. It's a stupid thing to have to do, anyway.

I say this now because I'm four days behind and I can't see wasting time tagging when I'm replying to an already tagged discussion. My hubby has a case where he is trying to get visitation with his daughter. Now shes four and he hasnt seen her much so he understands he needs to go slowly to build a bond but......his ex is demanding an 8 month plan that requires supervised visits by her (can a bond be built with mom there I think not), he must drive three hours only to get two hours with his daughter, she is demanding that she dont meet us for a minimum of 8 months even though she has her visiting our house for 8 hours towards the end (so im not allowed in my own house). i think this plan sounds just silly.

So what do you guys think? I mean my hubby has not been there but he has donee nothing wrong to warrant supervised visits thats his big complaint and the whole she cant meet us cause we are not family well im her step mom hello.

Did you think your spouse attractive when you saw at first sight?

There is an interesting research and it found out that most happy couples didn't find each other attractive when they met at first. I wonder whether it is true. Did you find your spouse attractive when you saw him/her at first sight?

how on earth do i deal with this

At 5am this morning i heard my phone ringing, the only time i get worried is when it rings at that time in the morning because i think it's a family emergency, so i jumped out of bed and there was a message from my sons girlfriend asking to call my son. so i did, my son (23) asked me if he could come and sleep on my couch because he was in my area and didn't want to waste £20 on taxi money to get home, he lives on the other side of town, so i said yes, 15 minutes later he was here, he told me that he'd been to his girlfriends house close to my home and they had had an argument, so instead of forking out on taxi money he decided to come here then get the bus in the morning....at 8.30 this morning i woke and he had already left, usually he would leave some kind of note or message letting me know he was ok, but he didn't, so i called him at 9am and he said he was fine and that he got home ok....anyway, me and my partner went to do some food shopping and when my partner went to pay, £40 was missing, now i know for a fact that last night when my partner came home from work, he counted his wages and put it in his wallet, this was at 1am, no one was here from the time UNTIL my son arrived, so the money could not have jumped out of his wallet and vanished all by it's self, so i sent my son a text message but he never replied, i have been trying to call him for the past few hours now and still no answer, i would never accuse anyone of stealing unless i knew for sure, and we both know for a fact that it was him, i am not going to jump to my sons defence this time because it was him who took it, but he was the only one here and all of a sudden, money is missing, also all my partners credit cards had been rearranged, i feel so sad today, not only because the money went missing, but for the fact that he did it on the sly, my partner has always been good to my son, he is so upset by this and said that if my son came here again then he would not be able to stay in the same room as him because it would be too awkward for him, also he could not leave his wallet lying around while he was here, there is no need for my partner to hide his belomgings because we are the only 2 who live here, so he usually leaves it on the table, i think my son saw this as an opportunity and just took the money because he thought no one would notice, i feel torn between them both right now and i don't know what i can do to make my partner feel better, i am so angry with my son because of this, he knows that if he ever needed money, then all he had to do was ask....i am still trying to contact him but he's not answering....i just want to know why he did it and what he took it for, i really don't know what to do, but i am so angry and ashamed of what he did, i just cannot get my head around it.....now i feel that if he admitted this and came back with the money, then said sorry that things would be ok and he would be forgiven, but i know there's no trust now and i really don't know how to handle it...i love both my son and my partner dearly but things are not going to be the same any more between them....what do i do?
