The movie was awesome and I think I know what we can expect in the coming part. I think that "Mr.Blue" is going to turn into a mutant brainiac (electric guy or something cant remeber the comic book name) because the gamma infected blood just entered his cut on the head. And its going to take more than hulk to defeat this villian, so TONY STARK a.k.a. IRONMAN is going to step in!

For all those who have seen the movie, do you agree?
For all those who havent what are you waiting for, go watch it now!

A good deed followed by a lie. Am I evil or what?

I normally stop by the Post Office every day on my way home from work to check the P.O. box. Since I've been training all week to cover for someone in the office who's going on vacation I've been working from 6:00AM until 3:00, which has been killing me, and I'm more tired than usual by the time I get off.

This afternoon a very sweet older lady wearing a bright yellow rain poncho walked up to my window as I sat in my truck after picking up the mail and asked me if I could give her a ride to Town Hall to pay her light bill. She said that they were going to close soon and it was "fixin" to rain. I didn't mind helping her out. It was a little bit out of my way but not much and she acted like she knew me, which was entirely possible since it's a very small town.

After she got in I soon discovered that she was a little *odd*. First we had to stop (on the side of the road at her direction) so she could call them from my cell phone to find out how much the bill was because, if she didn't have enough cash on her, we were going to have to stop by the bank. Luck was on my side...she had enough cash so we were on our way. We talked a bit but, when we passed the High School and I mentioned that my daughter had just graduated, she told me that she just graduated, too, so I was pretty positive by this time that this lady was definitely *odd*.

As we pulled up in front of the Town Hall she told me that she would only be a minute and then she needed to go to the bank and then home. That's when my good deed took a downward turn. I was tired, I wanted to go home and I did not want to drive this lady all over town. I pictured myself walking through the grocery store with her while she picked up a few (hundred) things.

That's when the lie just came sliding out of my mouth like I'd been telling lies all of my life. I told her that I really couldn't wait, that I had to pick up my daughter and get her to work by 4:00 or she'd be in trouble with her boss. The nice lady looked a little disappointed but she was very sweet about it. "Okay then, you have a nice weekend honey." Honey my butt...I felt like a heel...almost turned around twice on my way home, but I'm pretty positive that she was able to catch a ride from some unsuspecting person at Town Hall. They're probably at the Dollar Store by now.

So, tell me mylotters, am I completely evil? If she had originally asked me to take her to run multiple errands I would have made an excuse at the Post Office and I did get her to Town Hall in time to pay her light bill. When someone asks you for a favor are you at their mercy until they're done with you?

Okay everybody, I got a job, not the best job.....

but it will put money in my pocket. I am going to be working at Burger King. Starting Monday. I have a vocational degree to be an Administrative Assistant, but alas, jobs are very hard to find these days.

Also, to do a job that requires answering phones and dealing with clients, not you have to be very fluent in at least one other language...What a bummer.

But I am still looking, I am just working at BK for survival.

So... what is your take on the US gasoline situation and employment?

I don't know about you but I am thinking that it can't get too much worse before the United States crumbles. I mean with the gas prices the way they are, how are people going to pay for gasoline or diesel fuel for their vehicles and still put food on the table.

My thinking is that maybe people will have to be more ingenious to survive... maybe there will be a way for more people to have work on the Internet, rather than driving to work every day.

I am thinking that maybe something will happen like what happened in 1929 with the Great Depression. I feel that we are dangerously close to that now... yet we only hear it is a slight recession...

Where do you see the US 5 years from now? Do you think people will be paying $10 a gallon at the pump by then? Do you think they can? do you think their jobs will give them raises to offset the cost of living?

Please do tell what you think here.

Do you make your own Christmas Puddings and Mince Pies?

I am wondering how many people still make their own Christmas Puddings and Mince Pies and Christmas Cake. I have been doing this for over 50 years, but most people I know go out and buy them. I usually make two puddings and one of them goes into the freezer ready for the next year. When the bush fires were creeping closer to us a few years ago, we packed the car with a few precious things and I ran and grabbed the pudding from the freezer. It left me wondering how much consolation that pudding would be if we had lost the house and everything in it. Not much I think.

The Pajama Game

Here I sit. The time is 10.05 am and I have been around the screen since 8 am. I am yet to shower and dress. My pajamas are, not for the first time during the day in the last few months, still on me and I am reluctant to move. Do you spend hours sitting on the computer, especially myLot, in your nightwear?

Receiving Post Cards from Savynlady..

i'm so glad to let you all know that we are finally exchanging post cards..yesterda i received my post card from a mylot friend Savvynlady..it feels so great to have one..and she will be receiving hers in the next 1 week..also my mommy Brenda will be receiving hers as well..its fun..maybe you guys would wanna join us..i'm onto collecting post cards from friends from different country..

Doese anyone buy clothes for their child at Wal-Mart?

I was wondering if anybody buys clothes for their kids at Wal-Mart?I like Wal-marts clothes for kids because sometimes you can find cute clothes as well as shoes.I bought my daughter some Strawberry Shortcake shoes and my son Thomas the train shoes. Both of the shoes light up.I think also you get a good deal for the money.Sometimes I buy kids clothes at K-Mart,JcPennys ect,but sometimes some clothes have an outrageous price tag on them at some of the finer clothing stores. If I had th money I might buy alot more clothes at he finer clothing stores ,but for now it will just have to be occassionally.Unless I win the lottery.LOL

if u became invisible whats da first thing u wud do??

well..u guys tell me first..

Fast food workers should be ashamed

I went through a drive thru yesterday and may have met the most inept person ever to work a head set. I ordered a kids meal for my Kate, and for the drink I asked for water. The woman told me she could not give me water with a kids meal, that I had to take milk, juice or soda. I explained that I wanted none of those things, and that I understood I would not get a discount for not taking the drink. She insisted that I take the drink, and asked that I pull around to the window so she could explain it. Frustrated, I pulled to the window, and told her I'l happily take a kids sized iced tea AND a small water, which is when she told me that I'd have to pay for the water. I wanted to strangle her, but resisted as my car had just been washed. I asked her to please charge me for the kid's drink and just put water in the cup instead of the drink. She rolled her eyes and said, "Fine, whatever!" and the window shut with a slam!

I decided it best to not let Kate drink the water, so I stopped at another drive thru and paid .10 for another one.

Have you ever worried about the condition of your food or drinks based on the attitude of the employees of a resturant?

I feared a luggie, for sure.
