Alright already, we'll all float on.

Alright, don't worry even if things end up a bit too heavy.

We'll all float on."

These are lyrics to a song by a band called Modest Mouse. It's the eighth most played song in my Itunes. I always play it when I feel sad, worried, hopeless and just need a little picking up. The tune is upbeat and the message is uplifting. I thought I'd share this with you guys. I know a lot of us here are worried about the economy, our financial stability and basically what the world is turning into. We are experiencing heartbreaks, loss of loved ones and loss of opportunities. So if you feel like you're sinking or drowning in your life, please remember that you have the option to float on... "good news is on it's way."

Which song of lifehouse do you like most?

I have always been a fan of lifehouse. I like their music, I like their lyrics. I love listening to alternative type of music but not all have good lyrics. The most popular song of lifehouse I think is "You and me", which I think is really a great song. I love all their songs most especially "Hanging by a moment", "Blind", "Broken" and "Come back down". For me, all their songs are really meaningful and touching.

Coldplay

Coldplay is one of the UK's best band do you have a a favorite Coldplay song?

Not for any particular reason, just wondering. I myself listen to Heavy Metal, Hard Rock, Screamo, Hardcore, basically all the harder stuff in the Rock area. I also enjoy a good Pop/Rap song if it happens to come by. Bands include: Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Metallica, The Fall of Troy, System of a Down, just to name a few. If you would, please list a few of your favourite bands/genres of music.

21st Century Breakdown - Green Days greatest work

I am so in love with this CD I can't even stand myself. It was compared to American Idiot because of the story line aspect but it by far better. Agree?

Bands You Could Only Wish to See in Concert

Dont you just hate when a band you love to listen to either breaks up or was a little bit before your time and has died before you could get the chance to see them live. For me the bands I'd love to see would be The Ramones, The Clash, and Operation Ivy. So I was wondering what bands would everyone like to see live that they will never have the chance too.

Bands

Now that Blink - 182 is back together i was wondering how popular this is. I was wondering if people think that Blink being back together is a good thing and do people think that they are going to be the same band they were 5 years ago when they broke up. After answering that question I was looking for a top 5 band list from people. (this will both help me as I am always looking for new music and I am just wondering whats popular)

I like The Spill Canvas

I just heard of The Spill Canvas about one month ago. I used to listen to Canadian radio alot. There was a station I loved--CKLW. Besides the traditional hits and oldies of the day--say your Motown, your Gladys Knight and the Pips, Stevie Wonder, Glen Campbell, and others--they played songs from an alternative CanCon list--a list that included Edward Bear, Buster Brown ("Falling Out of Love"--1974), Andy Kim ("Shoot'Em Up Baby"), "Get Back on the Right Track"(Carlyle Miller), Lisle ("Shelly Made Me Smile"), and Chester (the super-awesome Summer 1973 hit "You Make My Life A Little Bit Brighter"--one of my favourite, very catchy, pick-me-up songs from that era).

Anyone ever heard of these acts?

What are some of your old Canadian favourites?

In a way, these are songs that were overlooked by the big U.S. Stations that were good.

Let me lay on another one from summer '73 that was one of my favourites. The late Kenny Hollis and Copperpenny came out that year with "Sittin' On a Poor Man's Throne" (a tune I can readily relate to.)

And the list goes on.

Anyone out there can relate?
