Not only are they losing out on much needed skills & quality time with parents, not to mention the traditions that are being lost. Crocheting, knitting, sewing and other various crafts where at one time life skills that where needed, not hobbies for those with extra time on their hands. Does anyone else see this as a problem?

Thomas Kinkade...The Painter of Light...

I was researching Thomas Kinkade this morning and I ended up putting one of his pics as my desktop wallpaper. I love his pictures. They are so realistic, they make me think that I could step right into them. I have several that are favorites and I think I’d like to get some to hang in our home. He really is an extremely talented artist.

Do you own any Thomas Kinkade pics? What do you think of his art? Would you ever buy any to hang in your home? What’s your favorite kind of jelly? I love strawberry jelly with crunchy peanut butter on soft bread.

I used to go beaches a lot when I was still a maiden but when I started bearing children, I had been content with my seashells.

Do you like to go on Deviat Art...

And just look at all the different pictures? I get in awe sometimes of the art I see when I type in just random stuff. I found amazing pictures when I put in the word fish. I was thinking I would get boring fish art, yay a bass, or something like that. But there were very amazing and creative things. If I had a big enough wall I would have tons of art by people put up so I could enjoy all the colours and moods. Or better yet, maybe I should devote every room in my house to a mood and put up art in that room covering the walls that fits that mood? That would be amazing! Like the bathroom will be filled with peaceful art so when I bathe I will be surrounded by peaceful art images that I enjoy. Kitchen could be filled with beautiful landscapes and food and kitchen scenery from other countries or something. Any medium or types of art too. Photo, pencil, sketch, painting, oils, mixed medium, whatever. Fill the ceiling with different pictures of people's visions of the night sky, or the sky during the day.

What do you think about that idea? Too extreme or too awesome? lol I really love art of all types, it is like a feast for my eyes, and music is a feast for my ears.

Does anyone else have a hard time remembering to put a pic...

on a post that you start? I do! All the time! I ALWAYS forget, let's see if I remember this time. I always have these bursts of ideas for questions and I want to know what others think or see if other people like what I like, so sometimes I post like 3-6 questions in a row. But I always forget to add a picture onto my post! And I didn't even know they actually pay you more if you put one! =( So now I am sad, I will have to start remembering to do that. Do you always put a picture with a post you like?

Some people would smirk to people who turn into photography as hobby

Some people would smirk at you if you are into photography because they would perceive you as an up and coming artist - or pretending to be. This is disheartening because it seems that they believe that photography are for artists only. On the other hand I think that it is natural that people would have doubts if you have creativity and talent in photography.... But the thing is some people are insecure that an average person like me is claiming that I like photography, what do you think?

Will you be participating in cyber Monday? For those of you who need an explan-

ation: Cyber Monday is after Black Friday and all the weekend shopping after Thanksgiving is done. Many people go online the following Monday to buy items online. Some sites are having sales for Cyber Monday. I don't have anything for money to do that, but I will be looking at the sites to see what kind of sales and deals they may have.

Would you buy a painting that a animal painted? Or let your pet or animal paint

I seen on television that there is a elephant, pigs, dogs, turtle and other types of animals painting pictures. Some people are letting their pets and other animals paint and calling them masterpieces which some of these paintings went for $500 each wow. I wonder if I can get my dog and cat to paint a few pictures? Would you let your pet paint and try to sell them? Here is a link about it. http://ifitshipitshere.blogspot.com/2008/04/painting-pachyderms-elephants-as.html
The elephant does a pretty good job painting. The link shows the elephant painting for those who might be skeptical.

Yes or no to tattoos?

Do you like tattoos? Do you have any tattoos? Do you think a person can have too many tattoos?

I do have a tattoo on my back, so I don't see it all the time and sometimes forget I have one. It's over 10 years old and needs a touch-up. I remember how painful it was to get it done so I am hesitant to get it touched up. I don't like it when people have tattoos all over their bodies - for me that's taking it to the extreme. What if you don't like it in 10 or 20 years?
