I mean really put 'em on BLAST for all of the MyLot and all of the World Wide Web to see!!! I'm so sick & tired of scam companies that it makes me my stomach turn.[em]angry[/em]

One company that Scammed is called Brring! This is a so-called free ringback service where you rig up your phone with ads from their advertisers and when people call you they hear an ad and then are connected to you. You are supposed to earn money earn money for each call and cash out at $10.

Well this Scam Operation Brring! had me and many others on the web sign-up and advertise their service, but when it came time to payout we never received payment. They just kept our money and screwed us! Their advertisers probably don't even know that they're robbing members.

After emailing this company back & forth several times, they just brushed me off and never paid up at all. These scam artist make me sick and I wrote this post so that it won't happen to. STAY THE HECK AWAY FROM BRRING!!!

*****If you've been SCAMMED too please share your story in detail. It's an awesome camera! However, after we bought it we realized we wanted to get a cheaper camera because the expense of the camera we bought would leave us without being able to do much Monday for our anniversary because we have several bills to pay and things of that nature.

So, before we even got the camera home we decided to return it to the Best Buy where we had purchased it from and perhaps get a more cheaper digital camera. So, we go back to Best Buy and we brought it over to customer service in order to return it and we hand the cashier our reciept. She punches in all the necessary data and then she turns to us and informs us that they have a policy that if the a customer purchases something over $250.00 with cash, they have to wait 7-10 buisness days to recieve a check in the mail for the returned amount because they don't have that kind of money in the store. So, they were pretty much saying that I had to hand over the merchandise but I couldn't get my money back for about two weeks. Are you kidding me?

First of all, a half an hour before we had just gave them $283.00, so, how can they tell us, 20 minutes before they were getting ready to close, that they didn't have that amount in the store? Um....I don't think so! My husband pointed to the register where we checked out and told the cashier, "that register over there does." Of course she ignored that statement real quick.

Second, when we purchased it, the cashier who checked us out never mentioned this return policy at all. So, I mentioned that to the cashier who was trying to preform the return for us. She said that she would get the manager and perhaps she could override it for us. The manager comes along and she punches in some numbers and then informs us that there is no way that she could override it. So, I explain to her that the cashier that checked us out never even mentioned anything about this return policy and that if it's a policy then they should mention it because it's an important factor. She says, "well, it's on the back of the reciept."

Now, I don't know about you all but I never check the back of the reciept. Who in the world thinks to check the back of a reciept? I don't kniw anyone who does this. I just think that if they are going to reinforce this policy, then they need to inform people who are paying over $250.00 in cash for an item, that if they return it they will have to wait 7-10 buisness days for a check in the mail and that all the information has been printed on the back of the reciept. Am I wrong? I really don't think so...

I personally have an issue with the fact that they want me to leave my expensive item with them and go home with nothing but a reciept and wait for a check in the mail. That's just so bogus! I was so upset with them that if I didn't love their movie selection so much, I would never return to them pft...Thankfully, my husband and I worked it out to where we can keep the camera and have a nice time on our anniversary as well. It took some budgeting and manuevering but all is cool because we put our heads together and worked it out. Still, it just made me so mad, I swear! However, at least we got one awesome camera out of the deal [em]lol[/em]. Still, I just think their policy is so bogus...

What do you all think about this policy? Do you think it's reasonable or do you think it's bogus?

what do you think about these companies that lay people off without any notice?

I have met alot of people in my work who tell me they did not get any notice when they were layed off. I really think that there should be some type of regulation on this because many people have children and this is not given them a chance to have a job prepared to go to.

Why Do Companies Today Just Not Care About Employees Anymore??????

I worked for a company for 14 years. I worked very hard for those 14 years. Putting in tons of overtime and working like crazy. I trained so many people I lost count. I did everything they asked me and more. The company started to change, getting younger people who would work for less money and then slowly I began to see what was gonna happen. About 6 months ago I was told that they were reducing staff and I would be let go. At that time we were quite busy. After all I put into this company they just said we don't need you anymore. I think they just like younger people who make less money and are not fully vested in their 401k programs. What is going on with companies today??? Has anything like this happened to you????

Naming & Shaming

Name and shame the companies that have done you wrong.
