I can remember Steven Spielberg filmed Schindler's List in black and white. The Longest Day was also in black and white as Darrly F Zanuck decided so. The Wizard of Oz had colour footage when the four-some and Toto went into Oz. Would you watch movies in black and white today? A lot of movies such as On The Waterfront and Classics of yesteryears are in black and white.

Black and white movies

The era of black and white movies is never to return, it was indeed a good time as the old stars were seen in classic action on the silver screen!

Do you eat junk while watching DVD's at home?

i have this bad habit of eating while watching movies at home. it has become an obsession, even though i don't have any junk food at home, i start to feel hungry the moment i sit for watching movies. i have put on weight. i don't know if i should stop watching Dvd's. do you have any idea how to control eating this junk? Maytime is one of the many old movies starring Jeanette McDonald, and Nelson Eddy. I'd heard the program as a radio play on an old Lux Radio Theater broadcast, but as yet I'd never seen the movie. Anyone else ever seen Maytime, or any other really old movies recently? Let's hear about them!!

Do you like black & white movies?

There are heaps of amazing movies from old days which are made in black and white. Do you get annoyed to watch a movie with no colors or it doesn't bother you at all?

I love old movies! I think that black & white gives a special charm to a movie! If I get annoyed by something with old movies, it is a shaky screen because of no professional cameras. Otherwise, black & white old movies are great!

When did you last watch a black and white old movie?

Do you like sometimes watch to black and white old mouvies? i love to see it...and i think that the best is Casablanca in black and white version. is really great, have a perfumes, who remind us others times, when peoples was in other era, other life..i saw Frankestain too,,,what black and white old mouvies did you watch?

What Old Movies Do You Still Love To Watch--PRE-1950s!!

Okay here's another trip down memory lane...Yes, we all love the razzle dazzle of the movies that are out now...the special effects are fantastic...but what movies do you love to still watch that pre-date the 1950s before all the spectacular special effects..Off the top of my head are

Cleopatra (with Claudette Cobert)
The Uninvited
The Ghost and Mrs. Muir
Time Of Our Lives ( with Abbott & Costello)
Any movie with Bette Davis!!
Any movie with Katherine Hepburn
The Bluebird (with Shirley Temple)
Gone With The Wind
Wizard Of Oz
The Mummy (with Boris Karlorf)
movies with Buster Keaton, or Charlie Chaplain, and even Mary Pickford

These are the ones I can think of now...but maybe you can think of more!
