This is one of my dreams if someday I could win a big first prize from any entertainment or anything...I would never go out to another countries unless I go around first my beloved Philippines. How about you what's the most beautiful place in the Philippines you've been to?

Do you take photos when you go to new places ?

There are many beautiful and exortic places in countries around the world. I can distinctly recall snorkeling for lobsters, and believe me they were some huge ones.
I dont have that courage anymore. Am a chicken now!!
Those corals were breath -taking!! MY MY! what a beatiful scenery!I was in my early 20s, but still vivid in my mind.

Autumn

The place where I currently live is well-known for the beauty of its turning leaves. It is quite breathtaking. In the fall, the brilliant oranges, yellows and reds literally stop people in their tracks... there are almost always vehicles pulled over to the side of the road, the occupants out admiring the view and taking snapshots.

For the last few years though, the leaves have been just going brown and dropping - without their usual spectacular display. I have heard that it has to do with the weather... not enough rain, too much rain, not cold enough fast enough - whatever. But lately I've been wondering if it also might have something to do with the energy in the area.

Where I live, most of the people in the vicinity are not very happy... neighborhood feuds, extremely limited thinking, near-sighted views and the like... myself not excluded.

For example; when we first bought a home here we were approached by a couple of the 'locals' and informed that "We don't like no outsiders comin' in here takin' wotz ars!

"Ummmm, ok, well, uhhh, thanks for sharing.

A well-known healer and author moved here to set up a recovery center for AIDS victims, where they could experience a stress free environment, doing light physical labor in the fresh air and sunshine. She had llamas and goats that roamed around. Rumor has it she was burned out. I don't doubt for a moment that the fire was deliberately set. I could be wrong I suppose, but the consensus is strongly in favor. And while there's something to be said for not wanting a big gang of contagious disease bearing individuals moving to your community, and I have to admire the gumption of taking matters into their own hands and getting the offending parties out,(much better than holding it in and developing a 'victim' mentality yourself I think), still...

And I'm no better!! Struttin' around with my 'superior' education, experience, and my 'new-age views. I say it's no wonder the trees aren't feeling exuberant these days!

Anyway, is there anybody else out there living in an area where the autumn display has been less vivid this year? If so, what has your weather been like? We'll compare.
