I only shop there occasionally, to purchase large quantities of breakfast or bubble gums, and snacks. It charged me about $40 per year. Sometimes, I don't think it is worth it, because I am not the frequent shopper there. What about you? Do you join any of those warehouse clubs? Such as Sam's, BJ, or Costco? Did you shop there frequently too?

Bulk Treats

I shop at Sams Club each weekend. Some items we buy we spilt with our daughter and or son. So not all of each item stays in my house. I have a terrible sweet tooth and last weekend I was craving candy of almost any type. So this is the result. I bought a 24 pack of Chuckles, a jelly type candy. Plus I also got a 3 lb 12 oz bag of Hershey Kisses. Do you buy candy in bulk? Do you shop at any store such as Sams, Costco, or Restaraunt SUpply Co.? Do you share tyhe exspense and split with others at all when you shop there?

Share your shopping habits.

My husband is always trying to get me to buy something for myself: a new pair of shoes, a purse, or a book. Even jewelry. I do not shop very often. It's not that I don't like to have new things, I just think that many people, including myself, are over-focused on material goods and having the "newest thing." What about you, do you shop constantly? Do you have to buy something every time you go shopping, or can you just "window shop?" Most people are tempted to buy things in bulk, but are you really saving when you do this. My sister is feeding a family of seven, including teenage triplets and a grandson. She mainly shops at a membership store called Costco, where you'll pay like $35.00 a year.
I was speaking with her last night and she was saying how her grocery bill has gone up to around $500.00 a month. She was also telling me how she use to purchase a huge bag of potatos for $6.00 and now it is $12.99. She has been doing her best to cut back. She was raised by my aunt, so I know she is an expert at catching a bargain, but it is still taking a major chunk from the budget of a two income household.
I found an article that weighs that pros and cons of buying in bulk and I thought it was important to share it with my friend's on Mylot. I know that a lot of you buy in bulk and during this time, there are many things to consider. So check it out and tell me what you think.

But everytime I've gone in there I've just got the feeling I would spend way more money then necessary and my little family of 3 would never use everything. I have however recently started shopping at my local meat market and buying my meat in bulk. The last time I went there I bought one of their freezer packs which cost me around $71. It came with a ton a meats in different varieties. I'd say it will probably last my family at least a month. I feel like I got a pretty good deal and the service there was great. My only complaint is the area of town it's in.

What do you all shop for in bulk? And how often do you shop in bulk?

Why? Do you like buying in bulk? What do you buy there? I think Costco is good for big families and they also have a lot of bulk food that you usually can only get in restaurants. I'm missing the pizza and polish sausage right now outside by the cashiers.

Sam's Club, Bj's or Costco

I love shopping at the large stores that you can buy in bulk. I prefer to shop at Sam's Club. I can get a variety of things that my family enjoys for half the price or less. Than buying at a reg. grocery store.

Which store do you prefer to shop at : Sam's Club, Bj's, or Costco? Why do you prefer to shop at that store?

Have You Ever Used Coupons?

I once went to a store and used a few coupons and saved more then $30 off the original price.

You can even go to some of the sites on the internet and print out coupons.

There are also lots of coupons in the Sunday paper that can be of great value.

What is the greatest amount you have saved on one purchase?

Tell me of some of you sites you use for couponing?
