i hope to find some good movies to buy that i will enjoy to watch.

Collecting DVD movies on an economical level....

I am still back in the 20th century and am using to play and record with VHS tapes. Over the years I have recorded so many good movies. I dont' TIVO so I still record on VHS.

But as I find my favorites on DVD at a cheap price, I will buy it and then hand down the VHS to someone else..or just record over it!

I always watch for them on sale at $5 or less... never more than $10 and only then if it is one I have been waiting for or haven't seen cheaper. Today I got Jurassic Park and Twister for $4.50 at Target. I have been adding to my collection of my favorite movies this way and am doing very well. I know many will buy ASAP and pay $25 or more for the movie... but I won't do it. I know the price willl drop. I wanted 27 Dresses SO BAD. Got a free rented acoupon and had never even heard of it (don't do the theater!) and just saw it and thought it looked good so I rented it for free. I Loved that movie! But wasn't going to pay $20... it dropped to $15, then $13, and I almost bought it but then went to Blockbuster and it was on sale (pre-viewed but perfect condition!) for $7.50! I grabbed it!

So how do you accomodate adding to your collection of DVD's and movies on an economical option?

Do you rent or buy?

For the longest time all I ever did was buy movies. Right now with the economy being in the state it is I don't usually have enough to buy therefore I use the RedBox that you can rent a movie for a $1 a night.

What do you prefer to do?

Just got all 5 seasons of Six feet Under...

...for the incredibly low price of 92.46! 24 brand-new DVDs![em]happy[/em]
I love this series. I've been wanting it for a long time, I finally bit the bullet and bought it. It's my x-mas present but I opened it already and I'll be starting a Six Feet Under marathon tonight!
My husband's gone down state to help my ex-in-laws with some work needed at their house. My son's getting ready for bed. It's me and my dog, my ever present companion. We'll curl up on the couch and I can tell him how each character reminds me of someone in my family. My grandfather and father owned a funeral home, so it's all very familiar to me.
I probably sound a bit crazy, [em]rasp[/em]but don't worry, I'm really not.[em]lol[/em]
Does anyone else love this TV Series?
Would you buy it?

What do you mean by Otaku?

I like anime, games and manga but I'm not kind of a die hard fan who will be cosplaying the character in the anime or game and not too serious to collect all the series of my favorite manga. How about you?

I love that movie..........

Do you think going to the movies, buying a movie, or renting a movie is best? Do you find DVDs that you want brand new that you want for a great price like this?

I usually don't buy the DVD's as soon as they come out, either. I just wait until I can get them for $10 or less. That way, I'm paying just a bit more than I could rent them for.

Do you have a dvd movie collection?

How many people collect movies on dvd?
