Nothing prescription, just the stuff you could get at your local pharmacy off the shelf. I didn't even know it was legal for a regular person to sell that kind of stuff on Ebay.

Anyway, I was wondering, do you think it's a good idea to buy medication from a stranger on the Internet? I don't think I could do it. There's no way to know if the medicine has been tampered with or if it's even the real thing. And, little recourse if they are sending you the wrong stuff. What do you think? Would you buy medicine from someone selling it on Ebay, if it were much cheaper than your local pharmacy?

Have you ever taken part in a medical research study?

In our area they are always recruiting for medical research studies. And, though I am sure that I would qualify for at least one or more of these studies, just the thought is unsettling. I'm not sure whether or not these research companies are planning to try safe medical practices and drugs. Or, whether they will be trying out experimental drugs. I don't want to end up as guinea pig!

Have you ever participated in one of these types of medical research studies or trials? What type of procedures were done? Did you receive money for the study? Was it a pleasant or unpleasant experience? If you had the chance, would you do it all over again, or avoid the experience altogether?

Did you hear about this?

I just read a news story that said anti-depressants might be linked to bone loss in women and men. Does anyone know if this is true? Certainly this is not good news for anyone suffering depression. I can't understand why big drug companies can't simply develop drugs that will treat illnesses without causing such horrible side effects. What do you think?
