Would you go alone with your spouse on a cruise and enjoy the food and fun? Or, would you bring the kids along so that everyone could have a good time? What's the one thing you would not want to do on your ideal vacation? My idea of the perfect family vacation would be a day spent on the beach. Just the three of us alone on a deserted beach strolling along looking for sea shells. And, as we casually pick through the sand looking for treasures, our daughter would splash in the surf, chasing the water and barely letting it nip at her toes. Ideally, this would be at a time of year when tourists had all gone back home, so we would have the entire beach to ourselves. I've been to the beach during those times and it's just heavenly. And, then we would have a hot dog cook out or enjoy deli food that we had brought along in our picnic basket. Since we live so close to the beach, it's a real possibility that this could happen for us. But, with our schedule I'm not sure that it's going to happen before fall. Hopefully during our vacation on the beach, no one would argue or get upset and we would have the perfect one day vacation away from our hum-drum life. That's my ideal vacation. What's yours?
