We always had a tree, decorated the house and baked cutout cookies etc. But I didn't have alot of money. So I would get the kids one big gift I knew they really wanted and just so there were other gifts under the tree I would buy them each a box of Chocolate covered cherries because they were only a dollar a box. This year two of my three kids will be home...and just for old times sake I am going to buy them a box of Chocolate covered cherries for them to remember a time when we didn't have it so good. Right now all of us are doing fine....but sometimes I think we all need a time to reflect to see how good we really have it! So the cherries will be under the tree. Do you think sometimes we need to step back so that we can see what we really have in front of us right now?

Ribbon Candy (mine all mine)

Well at Wally World today I actually found multi flavored Ribbon Candy early. Last year they ran out before I could get any. My loving daughter, minnie, bought me some last year though to satisy my cravings. Now I bought two boxes and should have bought more as I've eaten about 1/4 of a box already. This is a candy that isn't reaqdily available most times until the holidays. So when it's available I like to have a few boxes. Is there any particular candy you need to have for the Holidays at all? ANy that you can only find at this time of year as well?

I think it's the chocolate. Maybe if it was made with milk chocolate. It just does nothing for me in the snack dept.

Do you like to eat frozen candy bars?

Well. Here I am working all night online and of course I have to feed my nerves while I am at it. My daughter bought me a snickers candy bar the other day and I froze it in the freezer.

I just remembered I had it.

I like the ones with the liquid inside vs the white gooey centers. The liquid ones are harder to find but I find they are well worth the search. I have yet to find them in a boxed set. I have been having to buy them separately and been paying anywheres from 25 cents or more each one.

I couldnt help myself

For your information I just ate 1/2 box of chocolates. They seem to be popular during this time of year. I love them. They are really sweet and rich though. Do you know how to make them? I do. I've done it several times. I haven't done it in years though.
