The Telegraph newspaper has been revealing all. And they have been showing how MPs from all the major parties; Conservative (think Republican), Labour (Democrat) and Liberal Democrats (will say whatever they think will get them elected! - well the name says it!). Normally our HMRC (Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs) (think Internal Revenue) say that a person can only incur expenses necessarily incurred through their occupation. However our political representatives seem to live on another planet. The big one is the 2nd home allowance that they can claim; supposedly if their constituency is far from Parliament - like say Scotland/ Northern England/ Cornwall in South-West England for example. It really is creative accounting taken to the limit as MPs have been playing all sorts of games; doing up properties and claiming the building costs on expenses. "Flipping" their allowances; swapping the second home round with the main residence. Making huge profits out of renovated properties. One MP even claimed for dog food! The biggest joke is, how they were criticizing the bankers, when their snouts were in the trough (apologies to pigs!). [em]angry[/em] [em]w00t[/em][em]angry[/em]. Sometimes I just spot clean but when I do a thorough cleaning, it's about every 4 months or so. I have to be in the mood to do it, and I have to have plenty of time. I usually start at the top shelf, clean that, put food back in and do the next shelf. That way not everything isn't out on the counter and I always clean from the top down.
