Basically it says that anyone 18-25 is mandated to serve 3 months at a type of a boot camp. It’s basically a draft. You don’t get a choice. Your kids don’t get a choice. I saw where several ppl said their kids won’t be doing it b/c they don’t support it, others said it’s simply bringing back slavery. I’ve also read where some think it’s a good thing to make kids, young adults, adults, seniors…basically everyone do community service. I think community service is great…for ppl that want to do it…not to force ppl to do it. By forcing them to attend the boot camp and/or do community service it does seem to be the same as slavery. With so many ppl having no choice but to sign up for Welfare, it gives the government the control they need to do something like this. Meaning they can then say “Do what we say or you don’t get your foodstamps, HUD, WIC, Medicaid, etc. “ Some will have to do it just to keep surviving. I’ve read where ppl during the last draft ran off to Canada or other countries to avoid having to sign up. If your child is mandated to go to the boot camp and you don’t agree with it, will you be sending them off to another country so they don’t have to go? If your forced to perform community service to get your benefits, will you be doing them or going without? Do you agree with this new program or not? Although it is a good opportunity for kids to show their talents, teachers usually put up one item. This year they are going to dance for the ABBA's songs. Anyway since they needed another men, I had to join in. The problem that the performance is in two weeks time and I really don't know how to dance. One of us is really a professional dancer and she is having a hard time trying to teach us all the steps. The fun of it is that the five other male dancers are somehow or another in my level.... I do think that it is one of the craziest thing that I have ever done so far. I am not into dancing at all. I just dont feel the music. What is the most craziest thing you have ever done? It did come in very handy when I moved into my house a year ago and had no cooker for 6 weeks. Nowadays I simply use it for heating milk in the morning for my kid's breakfast and sometimes cook peas in it. I used my mum's once to dry my son's socks in and forgot about them and yes they caught fire, turned my mum's microwave black and it really smelt awful. I think she bought a new one even though I did clean it out! How often do you use your microwave? Are you a microwave connoisseur? Do you hate to use a microwave and don't even own one?
