Two twins both girls were killed by their mother and grandmother. One's neck was slashed by a blade, by the mother while the other one was smothered and killed by the grandmother. What was the reason. Their only fault was they were born as girls. I was horified and sad when I read this news. I was feeling quite bad that my own people have gone to such a level.
Of course both of them were arrested, and they are cooling their heels in the jail. The sad part is both of them do not regret their act.
Share your thoughts on saving the female baby.

The Body: You did the crime, now it's time.

To sit in your prison cell and reflect upon how you are going to deal with the trial. You really thought I'd let you get away with it. Don't worry though, with a good lawyer I'm sure you can still get off.

However, the roomie you are stuck with in your cell is almost driving you to another fould deed, distracting you from your scheming defence plans. As well as the continuation of the Body saga, this is inspired by our wonderful mylotter who suffers a roomie with a blender every day - hugs to H).

So how is your cell roomie irritating you?

Trying as an adult

I read an article in today's paper about a 15 year old girl who had killed a 9 year old neighbor. When asked why, she said, "because I wanted to know how it felt." They are going to try her as an adult.

So my question is, why try a child as an adult? Obviously she isn't an adult. In this part of the world she can't drive, vote, quit school, enlist, etc.

The legal line for pretty much everything except consumption of alcohol is 18. Not to say that somebody is more mature at 18 years and zero days than somebody who is 17 years and 364 days, but you have to draw the line somewhere. But 15?

The purpose of trying somebody as an adult is obvious, I think - harsher penalties. In California, a child as young as 14 can be tried as an adult for certain more serious crimes.

Do you think it's right to try somebody who's younger than the legal age as an adult? If yes, where is the line drawn in your mind? Is it the child's maturity? Prior record? Severity of the crime? Mental state?

Does parental responsibility factor into this at all for you? In California, parents can be held civilly or criminally responsible for their child's behavior. Should the authorities be required to prove neglect before they can punish the parents?

And when do the two become mutually exclusive? Is it a contradiction in terms to prosecute parents for letting their child run wild and yet still prosecute the child as an adult?

Would You Like to Live in Big City or Small City?

I am working and living in Shanghai, one of the big cities in China. I choose to live here because I think there are more opportunities in cities. But after several years, I am getting tired of the busy life here. Every morning, I get up quite early and have to spend about 2 hours on the way to my office, since tht traffice is too bad during rush hours. I just had quick lunch in some fast food restaurant every day, which I extremely dislike. As the living expense keep increasing in Shanghai, I am wondering if I should go back to my hometown, a small city in central China.
I would like to know what you will choose, big city or small city?
Thank you for your response.

What in the world gas happened to people??

Everyday it seems to be getting worse, it's almost as though we're getting used to hearing in the news about
some monster doing something unthinkable to someones child. Kidnapping seems to be happening everyday, and
alot of the time it's the poor childs own patents that have done the unthinkable. How can we ever trust anyone when
people are killing, selling, abusing there own babies? This scares me so much, Its not just babies but teens and people
of all ages that these things are happening to. I think it's time we all come together and do something about this terrible
stuff that is getting worse daily. We need to pray, we need to keep an eye out for each other, it takes a village to raise a
child but in this day and time we don't know what kind of people live in our village. We have to watch for people acting strange
we have to watch each others children as they play. Even kids we don't know, we have to look out for our neighbors, get to know
them, we need to bond and come together, and some how stop this maddness!!

Torturing Animals!! Is it some kind of fun???

Human beings are quite used to end up their frustrations beating animals. If they would have a real heart then would have understood the pain. Torturing animals is a big crime. Yes there's a difference in it, whether you are beating the creature just for your satisfaction or trying to self defend. If you are self defending from that animal then it can be understood but if it happens to be the former then you are not less than a criminal.

If you see your friend committing a crime, would you report it?

First, I would rather talk to my friend about it and questions my friendship on him/her. If the crime is punishable by law or it would intend to harm anyone, then, I would not hesitate to report it. How do you fell about it?

A man following her closely in her back and reaching for her bag.I didn't bother it at first, and I taught that they knew each other. But when I saw that the man pulled something out of the womans slashed bag, I call the attention of the bus driver to call for help. He said not to bother it as he sees lots of them everyday. The man was not caught. Now, I felt sorry for the woman and if only I was brave enough and make my quickest action, he would be caught. Have you ever been into a situation like this one?

19 year old BURNS Baby cause she is STRESSED!!!!!

A 19 year old mother has been charged with burning her daughter's back in three places with a lit ciggarette! Do you clear your history after you log off from the computer at such cafes?
Its really important to clear your browsing history at such places as that computer is going to be used by another person after your done. So if that guy happens to be a person with some malicious intent then he may get great valuable information about you from the browsing history that you must have left behind.
So do keep in mind to clear browsing history every time you leave the cafe.
Lets try and prevent letting out loop holes to stop cyber crime.Whats say you guys with me?
