So many little things they just plain screwed up on. Deadpool - what they did to him is deplorable, a half decent sarcastic character from the comics turns into a mouth sewn shut revived dead guy with adamant swords that somehow come out of his arms. Is he Deadpool or not? I am not really a huge Deadpool fan, but they just didn't capture him, I would have thought with Ryan Reynolds playing the roll they'd be able to do it justice, they failed. Hopefully they correct this for the supposed upcoming Deadpool movie. Gambit - Damn it all Gambit is an easy character to put into a movie, don't just throw him in there without even attempting to work him into the storyline so you'll get more Xmen fans, it just annoys us. And Gambit has a French accent people, where was the accent? I mean when he comes in and destroys the concrete about to fall on Logan turns and says "did ya miss me?", this is a classic Gambit move, very well done, but without a Cajun accent on it, its not right. The actor that played him had the look down pretty good, even the attitude was right, but he needs that Cajun accent to truly be Gambit. Sabretooth - ok for the most part they did a good job of him at the beginning, but he should have become more primal at the end. So many small issues they just didn't get quite right. A movie focused on Wolverine had so much promise, but they dropped the ball. Oh I'll still see it again, I'll probably buy the DVD and watch it several times, but it just didn't meet my expectations. I read the 6 part story arc 'Origins' and it was very good. Still don't know everything there is to know about Wolverine, he's an enigma that's not meant to be solved. The movie will have Deadpool and Gambit; why Wolverine hates Victor Creed (Sabertooth) and has vowed revenge, leading him to the Weapon X Project in Canada. Also, I noticed a few people from Alpha Flight in the preview. Wolverine was with Alpha Flight before he was with the X-men. Hugh Jackman is looking especially fit in this installment of X-Men. Oh, this is going to be so good, I don't know how I'll be able to wait... But I was wondering, what other characters work well in tandem with Deadpool? The reason that I like him is because, for one, he's Deadpool, for another, he provides a balanced mix between a ranged character and a brawler. I also like to have Black Panther or Wolverine to brawl, Nick Fury to be like Deadpool, but more ranged, and Silver Surfer for long ranged attacks. What about you? Have you discovered Deadpool as a character? I think that he's too often overlooked- he adds a certain sense of humor to the game rarely seen elsewhere.
