As one of the things I want to do, I want to clean out all the old poisons in my body. I know there are things you can mix up on your own to take or buy already made that will flush out the impurities but I’m not sure what they are.

I’d like to find something that will flush out the different organs in the body so that I can start with a clean slate. Does anyone have any suggestions that they know work well? Are their any drawbacks to doing it or anything I need to consider before doing it?

Before meal or after meal?

I believe many myLotters are lover of fruits just like me. I eat fruits everyday. And of cos, everyone know that fruits is good for our bodies. Since young, my mother would let us eat our fruits after meal. Recently, there are many reports that say that the correct way of eating fruits should be before meal. They say that if we eat our fruits after meal, the vitamins of the fruits will not be absorbed into our bodies as our intestines are still working to digest all our food from our meal. So, what do you think is the correct way of eating your fruits, before meal or after meal???

Colon cleanse

I have seen a lot on this subject and I would like to do one for weight loss, does anyone know how to do it naturally with what you can buy at the supermarket not a pill?

Colon cleansing?

There's an infomercial on my television now.
They are trying to sell me a colon cleansing product.
I have a friend who was on a "detoxification" diet.
Do you think these things are helpful or do you think it's pure nonsense?

Detoxing the body... is pills and suppliments the only way?

So far, I have been reading up quite a bit on detoxing the body, and most of them are recommending some sort of pills or supplements to do it.
You take the said pills or supplements and follow their said program, you will be clearing your body of toxins and other impurities.

Now, correct me if I am wrong, pills and supplements are made from food extracts as well right?
What is the more inexpensive way of getting the body detoxed without having to spend money on those pills and supplements?

I there any list of food that we can work into our diet so that it will produce the same effects as eating the pills and supplements?
Or any exercises we should take note of to include into our routine to aid in the detoxing process?

It's been about 20 years since I last tried it and all I remember is the awful headache I had for days! Because I want to fast for more than 2 days, a weekend fast won't be long enough, and I still need to function for work - any ideas on the best kind of fast to do with this consideration? Thanks!

Have you ever tried body cleansing?

I am interested in body cleansing. I looked up on the internet about it and there is so many products out there. A lot of people say you should be careful because some don't work and some can really mess you up. They can be pretty expensive, but doing it is suppose to be good for you. Plus you can lose like 15 lbs. and you just fell better afterwords. I think the only drawback for me is not knowing which one to take and also things that happen during the process. They show you pictures on the sites and it can be pretty scary...lol Have you tried any good cleansing systems? Do you do it every so many months? How do you feel after doing it?

How about those foot pads?

So, has anyone tried the foot pads they advertise on television? I have read about reflexology and so forth, but, I wonder if this really works. It was just temporarily cured per specialist visits. So, my friend recommended me to have a detoxification of my body systems which she currently applies.

It sounds easy, ie. to drink 2 cups of the mixture of boiled water, honey, lemon and salt in the morning with empty stomach. Just skip the breakfast while we can eat as per normal during lunch and dinner. But, I'm not sure how effective it is and whether it's safe and won't affect ones fertility?

So, I'm seeking your advice. Please do share with me if you have some good methods to detoxify ones body systems and also your experience in leading a healthier life. By the way, if you happened to have the recipe of this drink, please share as to how much proportion of each ingredient we shall mix during the preparation. Reason being, my friend just prepare the drink with her own preference of taste and no specific measurement of the mixture. I guess it'll only have best effect with correct measurement of each ingredient, correct me if I'm wrong?

We just saw the Dr about it. He suggested a change in diet. Upon viewing the diet, we realized that our diet was ideal. The Dr then suggested more fiber in the diet. he said that fiber will acturally clean the cholesterol out of our bodies as long as we eat enough of it each day. I though that was interesting and had never heard of it before.

have you heard that increasing your fiber intake could reduce your cholesterol?
