I'm just curious to know if the people writing here on myLot are just online workers, or they have also a true, real work.
About me, I try to earn some extra money online, but my true real job is constructions related.
What about you? What is your job?

Economist speak out against Stimulus Plan

Obama said last night that leading ecomonist support their econmonic stimulus plan. Well they did not take kindly to that. A group of leading economist got together and took out a full page in the wall street journal saying how they thought the bill is too big, wasted too much money and did not do the right things to actually stimulate the economy. They felt most of projects in there would do nothing for the economy but would add to our debt and inflation. They called this bill (as written) wasteful and irresponsible. What do you think?

At least one extremely famous economist says the bailout is NONSENSE & IRRESPONSIBLE. You can read who said it and why along with others who say the same here.

I say that if internationally known economists and bankers removed from the big financial centers are not worried unless we do foot the bill for the bailout, then the heck with the bailout. Who needs it except the special interests who benefited from all this?

What do you say?

What do you think of Socialism?

Do you think that our government should eliminate income taxes for individuals, and replace that by raising the tax rates for certain corporations? Do you think that every American should recieve a check once a year for just being an American? Do you think that we should tax the excessive profits of the big oil companies? I am just wondering how you feel about this.

How many economists does it take to change a light bulb?

None, the wait for the free market to do it.

How many private utilities does it take to change a lightbulb?

One, but it cost thousands in dividends

I always wanted to be an entertainer...and I have had success over my lifetime, but in many odd little ways. It hasn't been an even road.

Sky is the limit

Hi friends, you know, after retirement, I am associated with various voluntary organizations and do some honorary jobs. We have one such that looks after development of pregnant women. We needed an honest worker to take care of the accounts section for some honorarium, not salary. It is evident that no young man will come for this for a low salary, so our advertisement was for senior citizens, 55+, preferably retired.
There were 16 applicants. I along with some other retired friends conducted the interview today, just now I am back and sharing this with you all. My friends asked various questions, but mine was a funny question-“If you add 2 and 2, what you will get?” 99% of the candidates said,”It is 4.” I asked, “Are you 100% sure?” All except three said, “Yes it is.”
Now see the answer of the other three. There was a retired Professor of Mathematics, an ex-colleague of mine. He smiled and said, it is 4, 101%.
The other was a retired accountant from a reputed firm. She said it is 4, but 10% this side or that, manageable.
The third one was a retired ‘economist’, he said, “Well it is 4, but if you want anything may be the answer, from zero to infinity, ‘sky is the limit’.”
Well as a retired professor myself I was satisfied with the first two, but I am not able to guess what the third friend said.
Well friend, which is the best answer, what this ‘sky is the limit’ refer to? Who should get the job? I shall wait for your answer and give my views in the interview board next week; we will send the letter of appointment then only.
My opinion is, the job should go to the professor. The last one will manipulate and consume the money for sure. Cheers.

same with the united states.
they are non-existent.

a good way to understand this would be:
when one says 'america attacked iraq' it means nothing.
did the concept of america walk over and punch the concept of iraq in the face?

what really happend was that a guy, bush, hires a bunch of assasins, soldiers, to go kill a bunch of people, iraqis, on the other side of the world. the justification for this is that some guy, saddam, had powerful weapons he could use to kill a bunch of people with.

ironic isnt it?

WHO R U ??

profession

whats ur profession????

i m still studying m a student...
