The post, which was pulled off the site after it was discovered by the Free Republic, is entitled "Palin Will Run in '12 on More Retardation Platform". In the article, the author, Erik Sean Nelson, who is a regular contributor to the Huffington Post, shamelessly makes fun of everyone from Down's syndrome children to Wal-Mart greeters. I don't know why this attack on a minority (developmentally disabled) is not labeled a hate crime. Most importantly, it shows what depths of despicable behavior some on the left are capable of sinking to in order to attack Sarah Palin and her family. To go after the tiniest of them, and the least capable of defending himself - a baby - is the lowest form of cowardice I can imagine. Can anyone tell me why this man should not be fired?
