If so, how come we see a lot of sufferings in many people while a number live in luxury? Where did the inequality start? Historically, we know that wars and battles had been fought by countries for economic reasons. The more powerful subjucates the conquered. Our country for instance had been under foreign domination for hundreds of years, that is why many of the remnants of those foreign dominators are now the ones owning large tracks of lands that the poor natives till for survival fees.

Where should we start making our society a happy one because no one is very poor, that everyone has its fair share of the world's resources? Is it an impossibility? Will the move towards equalization lead to socialism or communism?

It has been broken, then reforged to be usedby Aragorn to revcover his legitime Kindom.

Excalibur was also a magic sword that couldn't be used by anyone but King Arthur, who also recovered that way his legitime kindom.

Go you agree this is a cover by Tolkien of this ancient legend? Tolkien has studied a lot of mythology from England and other Northern Europena countries, do you know other old stories referred in his books?

Do you like this kind of stories? how far do you know about them?

Arthurian Legend

I'm a great fan of Arthurian Legend and have often thought about what it would have been like to have been living in the Dark Ages.

If you could turn back the clock to Arthurian times, which character would you have liked to have been, and why? Would you have liked to live at Camelot, or Avalon, or somewhere else? Maybe Merlin would have been a good man to be. I would have liked to have been Morgan, or maybe Igraine, but there are lots to choose from including Saxons.

So, using your imagination, which would you have liked to be and where would you have liked to live?

do you believe the Excalibur story ??

In surviving accounts of Arthur, there are two originally separate legends about the sword's origin. The first is the "Sword in the Stone" legend, originally appearing in Robert de Boron's poem Merlin, in which Excalibur can only be drawn from the stone by Arthur, the rightful king. The second comes from the later Post-Vulgate Suite du Merlin, which was taken up by Sir Thomas Malory. Here, Arthur receives Excalibur from the Lady of the Lake after breaking his first sword in a fight with King Pellinore. The Lady of the Lake calls the sword "Excalibur, that is as to say as Cut-steel," and Arthur takes it from a hand rising out of the lake.

As Arthur lay dying, he tells a reluctant Sir Bedivere (Sir Griflet in some versions) to return the sword to the lake by throwing it into the water. Bedivere thinks the sword too precious to throw away, so twice only pretends to do so. Each time, Arthur asks him to describe what he saw. When Bedevere tells him the sword simply vanished underwater, Arthur scolds him harshly. Finally, Bedivere throws Excalibur into the lake. Before the sword strikes the water's surface, the hand reaches up to grasp it and pull it under. Arthur leaves on a death barge with the three queens to Avalon, where as his legend says, he will one day return to save Britain from a threat.

Malory records both versions of the legend in his Le Morte d'Arthur, and confusingly calls both swords Excalibur. The film Excalibur attempts to rectify this by having the Lady of the Lake only repair the sword after it is broken.

Where do you go?

My favorite casino locally is Barona Valley Ranch Casino here in San Diego, CA. The DVD has a lot of background information as well as The Round Table Discussion about how certain scenes were shot and the cast and crew. All of the actors worked well together and that really came through in their performance.

Marvel or DC ?

Comic lovers, which one do you like better ?

I like Marvel, because it looks real, the location, the city, the character and the emotional condition is real too.
I hate DC (oops sorry) because the location is not real (where is Metropolis and Gotham ? then how Superman can go to NY?), the character is not to earthy (Superman is Kryptonian, Martian Manhunter is Martian, GL ring is from outer space).
