I loved how when it looked like the Doctor was regenerating, he only repaired himself and transferred the rest of the excess energy to his hand he lost in the fight with the Sycorax in the jar. I was sure that Donna was done for when the Tardis fell into the core. But then she touched the hand and "became" a timelord-human hybrid and the "new" Doctor grew from the hand and together they saved the others after Martha and Captain Jack tried and were thwarted by the Daleks. I loved that Rose got her life with the human version of "her" Doctor. I didn't know that Catherine Tate was leaving the show. So sad when the Doctor had to leave her with no memory of him or their adventures. What did you guys think? Personally I think it was a crappy way to end it, Nathan's own mother approving of his assassination, giving sylar immortality and possibly illusions. Although otherwise there's really no way for him to compete with Peter. Killing off two of the most popular characters, although if the blood of Claire can give people her power Nathan may not be dead. Although a bit of a stupid decision what Hiro did to Adam was awesome, I thought. My husband and I watched it and were recording it for a friend to watch later. I will say that we both thought for a minute that the TV had blacked out on us at the ending but apparently that was what was supposed to happen. Paulie and the paranoia that he has from the cat and Tony’s offer were strange. I’m interested to hear others views on this and other characters and stories from this last episode. I liked this finale and thought it was good because it left a lot of things open to interpretation to the viewer. Also, the show has been on for so long that it’s really difficult to wrap up all the stories neatly. Oh yeah, there is one really gross part. You’ll know what I’m talking about when you see it. Very graphic, ewww. I look forward to what others thought about the last show so that we can discuss it.
