How did you react to missing parts of the movie? Did you curse or yell you want your money back? Today I went to see the movie "The Dark Knight" and this is what happened to all of us in the theater today. Halfway through the movie it started blacking out or the sound would disappear or both. It was so annoying and people were getting upset and yelling. Some people took the right approach and went and complained to the manager. We were given a free movie ticket to come back. You would think with the high prices we pay, they would have good technology.

Going to see advanced screening of "2012" tonight

I am on my way to see an advanced screening of 2012 tonight. I got the tickets from being a newspaper subscriber. They sent me an email asking if I wanted 2 free tickets and I filled in the form and sent it back on their website. About 5 days later they came in the mail. Now I am taking the bus down to Miami to meet up with my husband. The movie is playing down there and hubby works down there so we are saving gas money doing it this way.

I know this is going to be a great movie and it's free! Also I used my son's bus pass that he got for school so it was really a freebie!

Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

I got tickets to an advanced screening of "The Stepfather" tonight October 15, 2009! We are going in about 2 hours and then going to get some dinner afterwards. The best part is that the tickets were free!

[em]thumbup[/em]

The movie stars Dylan Walsh from nip/tuck and is a remake of the 1987 movie. I am hoping to get to see more of the advance screenings too.

So, does anyone else here on myLot go to advance screenings of movies too? I get so excited to go to the movies and to get a freebie so this combination makes my day! I just wish it was Friday night but that's ok I am happy enough just to get this!

You see, someone here on mylot, gave away the whole plot, what happened in the end, and the conclusion so all the fun was taken out of it and it was done in great detail. Now the only other movie that we might see is that new James Bond movie. The fact is I just want the highlights from the movie, is it a happy ending? Who stars in it? What type of movie, not the whole thing done for those who will be unable to see it, either two years down the road when it gets on Tv, or will be unable to get it in the rental.
So I was wondering whether someone's detailed description of a movie, without the warning "Spoilers' made it so that now why bother to see the movie now since they already told you about it?

Top great websites to watch FREE Movies/Films

Why spend a penny renting cd's or buying movie ticket when you can watch them all for free.

Your local movies or Foreign movies?

As far as my observation is concerned. I could really think that most of my Filipino moviegoers prefers to watch foreign movies. In your own country, you have your own local movies producer which starring your own local actress and actors. What movies do you go after your own locals movies or movies done by foreign producers? Would you go to watch movies understand by you in your own languages or one being translated or watch the movies because it is popular? In my own country, the people watch movies mostly foreign offers interesting stories, with special effects are impressive and captivating. While local movies being watch are very familiar with the setting or the background of the scenes and when it comes to technical production is quite not yet advanced. How about you, Which movies you prefer to watch, your locals movies or the foreign movies?

could i download movies?

could i download moives for free on net?

As I was entering the theatre they had a Bloodmobile outside asking people to donate blood. They were offering a free movie ticket if you donated.

Well, I have never donated blood before but I had always thought about doing it. So I decided to go and donate blood after my movie was over. It was not that bad of an experience. And I look at it that I am helping to save lives by donating blood.

I really didn't know what to expect but it was not that bad. First, they had me fill out a questionnaire and read a pamphlet. Then they tested my blood to see if I had enough iron to donate. Then they had me lay down and they drew a pint of blood. All in all I think the whole process was about 30 minutes long. I did not feel faint or anything afterwards and I think I will do this again in the future.

My husband was with me but he did not want to be anywhere near the Bloodmobile. He just sat outside on a bench and waited for me. He has a thing about doctors and needles.

So, I donated my blood and when I was finished I was pleased to find out that in addition to the movie pass I also got a free ticket to admit 2 to the Improv at the Hard Rock Cafe here in Florida. And they gave me an orange juice, a coke, and some crackers. So, it was pretty good. I am just happy to help save lives.

It saddens me to see all these people who keep trying and trying to work from home but never make much but pocket change because they are relying on survey sites, paid to read e-mail site, pay for referral sites, etc. Now these sites are good for things such as a free movie night out for the month or free dinner but they in no way will replace a day job. There are SO many work at home jobs out there. I have found a list of quite a few that are paying by the hour, 40 hours a week (or part time if you choose) that don't charge you a fee to work and are as legitimate as going into an office (yet you get to stay home). I am not getting ANY kind of referral off of these or any way helping myself out. I can I say this is pay it forward because I have found a wonderful work at home job that pays a good weekly salary and gives me 40 plus hours a week. After working from home I don't think I could ever go back to an office enviroment. So here they are. Enjoy and GOOD LUCK !

Customer Service:

If you have inbound customer service experience these jobs are good for you. I don't which ones are hiring right now but I am sure there are some in this list that are. Most of these require you to have at least a high speed connection as you will be taking customer calls.
