also, i am happy that i got a chance to meet with my college friends! its more than five years since the last time we saw each other...and so on that day that we meet, we just go to the mall and eat a lot and just go to every shop that we saw...hehe doing window shopping... haha and also we talk so much as if there will be no more tomorrow and i really feel the happiness with each other and the excitement upon sharing our stories...and i noticed that in all of us, it looks like nothing have really changed except in our appearance! haha...coz the way we talk to each other even if we already lost contact in the last few years are just the same like the old times!

so how about you? have you ever experience something or do something that make you say to yourself that ooops...this is just like the old times...[em]happy[/em]

in the spirit of good old movies...

not that i am prejudiced or anything. i do like recent movies, in fact i am drooling while waiting for some. however, sometimes it is just so good to go back to the movies, no matter how old, that first broke your heart, that first made you smile, that first made you hope the there is true love.

when it comes to old movies, La Vita E Bella (Life is Beautiful) always comes to my mind. A love story that keeps hope in the middle of the holocaust. Then comes other movies, of course, that had made silver screen history...

but when i say 'good old movie'...what film comes (right away) to your mind?

Memories of childhood, sights, sounds and smells that bring back memories

I just came back home from the shops, walking past the bakers shop I could smell that wonderful aroma of fresh baked bread. Next door to the bakers is an old-style butchers shop and he smokes his own bacon, so I could smell the bacon too. The further I walked, the more the sights and smells reminded me of my childhood. Days when my Mum would ask me to go to the local grocers shop for half a pound of bacon and a fresh loaf. I would hold the money in a handkerchief and cycle my little trike up to the shop, repeating over and over to myself what I had to ask for. I would go to the counter and ask for the bacon and bread, pay the money, put the change into my handkerchief, take the brown paper wrapped bread and the brown bagged fresh sliced bacon and put it into the basket on my trike and cycle home again.
There used to be a timber yard near my home and I could hear the saws buzzing and smell the fresh pine smell of the sawdust in the air. Then past the big house on the corner, the one with the huge front garden full of roses. The sight of those roses all in bloom was stunning and the scent filled the air.
It has made me feel quite nostalgic for my childhood days and so, my friends, I am asking you, what brings back childhood memories for you. Could it be the scent of blossom in the breeze or simply the sounds of children playing on the swings in the park.

Who do you miss the most from your past?

Of all the people we encounter in our lives there are some who have such an impact upon us for sometimes reasons which may not become clear or understood until much later.
Out of all of those people who we may never see again, Who do you miss the most?
