Wed, 18 Nov 2009 21:51:26 GMT nheansocheath http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2183973.aspx Last evening during one of my few interactions with the boob tube I saw a commercial about the 'Greening of the Planet' by not using those plastic grocery tote bags..And being a bit askew in my thinking I thought about it beyond the content of the commercial and couldn't help but wonder if using canvas or paper bags was really going to accomplish much in toting home fruit juices, water, milk, munchies, marjarine, yogurt, frozen dinners, meats, sodas, canned fruits/vegetables, soups, dry goods, candies, cheeses, dry goods and such which are all packaged in plastic containers which will invariably find a permanent home in a landfill somewhere.. The question is..Am I correct in thinking that this commercial is totally inane? or Has my 'half bubble off plumb' mind drifted closer to the full bubble experience? Enjoy!
