Do you clear your history after you log off from the computer at such cafes? Its really important to clear your browsing history at such places as that computer is going to be used by another person after your done. So if that guy happens to be a person with some malicious intent then he may get great valuable information about you from the browsing history that you must have left behind. Yesterday my good friend & neighbor was at work & her husband who is disabled got a call from the card company that someone from great britain had hit her card twice in the amount of $1500. She got busy checking & of course the bank was closed due to vetarans day but since we are a small town & it's a local bank she was able to talk to one of the bank employees at home. They got it stopped , thank heavens but have no idea how someone that far away was able to use her card.It is sooo sad that people choose to do mean things to people instead of getting out & working at an honest job for a living. Why on earth would anyone want to make a virus and send it through the computer systems to poor unexpecting individuals like myself. Its no better than those teenagers flicking the switch on dawnalds electricity box. Pranksters. I am having this rant as yesterday my computer completely went. It was a famous trojan horse stomping over my system. It wouldn't even let me get into windows so I couldn't even format and wipe to get rid of it. So my hubby spent all afternoon until 1am in the morning trying to fix the problems, this morning it took him another two hours. Now we are virus free no thanks to the idiot that made the virus in the first place. I do so many important things on the computer, my hubby works full time on his computer and as they are linked his wouldn't work either. Thankfully my hubby has sorted it and I have my beloved computer working again and have a much better virus checker on my comp as it seems the reliable AVG has let me down. I was so mad i sent an email to the address it was supposedly sent to calling him dang near every name for fraud in the book. He sent me back a reply he didn't know anything about it and refused the $500 thank god. I apologized quickly and changed all my security at paypal and disputed it but that didn't seem needed since in fact he had refused the payment. Now my paypal in on LIMITED until I do a few things. I never thought that would actually happen to me. Now I wish I could figure out how they got my info in the first place and who they were so I could press charges or something.
