thought. we are all brought up on the concept that people
get married and live happily ever after. it dawned on me
'that real people do live together happily but not ever
'moment of every day as humans just dont run around like
'chickens clucking happy happy all day long.We all run
'into problems no matter how much we love each other, if
only that illness and accidents do occur and we have no
say over them. So sadness does come into the most happy
home. What is your take that the term happily ever after is'mostly a fairy tale? that real people are not happy every minute of every day and yet they do have wondeful marriages anyway, agreed? Are we betteroff to just say they had a great marriage instead?

What does happily ever after mean to you?

It means that I will acquire a fast metabolisms A girl can wish!

But honestly a life with someone who loved me, with whom I could live a trusting quiet life, without major debts, surrounded by friends and family who cared.

That would seem to be a "happily ever after" to me.

But I only use it now to chat with my friends, the ones I really know. My cousin, loves to chat with different people. She has found a boyfriend (from different country) thru chat. The guy plans to visit our country this year to meet her. I actually dont know how to react. Im happy as long as she's happy but I cant help thinking negative thoughts. She doesnt know the guy personally. I have so much what if's.

What if it's you, what do you think about it?

does happy ever after don't exist anymore?

well, a lot of countries are already implementing divorce which makes people always change their mind to their love ones. here in the philippines, we don't have a divorce yet that's why there are still love stories or relationships that i think deserves and will have a happy ever after...

in your country, is there still a happy ever after?

It is still possible to live happily ever after in this generation?

I do not believe this is still possible today. Seldom do I hear friends telling me that they are happy and contented in their relationship. They may stay with their spouses or GF/BF but something's amiss and they are just suffering inside. Okay, there might be one or two who, based from their experience, can say this is still possible but they are too few and far in between.

There are many technological advances today that made our life easier but these also created problems on relationships. The cellphones and the internet made it possible for us to meet other people.

The economic crunch created conditions for others to seek opportunities overseas thus leaving their loved one behind and open themselves to temptation.

I will not be surprised if these GMOs we consumed, knowingly or unknowingly, in a way, made us weaker physically and emotionally.

I can enumerate so many reasons present today that may be the cause of break ups and fall outs. Lasting relationship is becoming extinct.

Are you a cynic like me or you still believe it is still possible to live happily ever after in this generation?

Do you dream of a happy ever after?

I know its not common for guys but do you still believe in happy ever after marriage? Nowadays i guess its very hard to have a successful marriage especially that women are now career oriented like men. And they don't just stay at home and take care of the kids that's why some of marriages didn't work because of a lot of conflicts and priorities. Is it still possible to have a happy ever after?

Fairytales

What was your favourite Fairy Tale growing up?
Has it remained the same or have you liked various fairytales?

My favorite Fairy Tale was and is Beauty and the Beast.

My Son has a Job, yeahhhhhh
He had 2 Interviews but one of the Jobs he did not really want as he wants to be back in his Profession, well last week the Firm that he very first worked for and done his Apprenticeship with was advertising, he left there on bad Turns 6 years ago, due to a Health and safety Case, his Boss was trying to tell Mike he did not know what he was talking about, but soon clamped up when Mike told him, that his Mum was a Manager and has the Health and Safety Certificate and certainly knows all about it as she does the Training, proving the Idiot wrong did not pay of well and he started nit picking, knowing Mike was still working as he always had, Mike left and worked for another Firm. Well they rang Mike on Thursday and told him he has got the Job, the old Boss is not there any more but it is his Brother who rang Mike. Well he starts Monday and he is so happy, today they rang him to say that he would be working away for a week so he was even more Happy lol
I just hope now that no one switches the light of again at the end of the Tunnel I really do it stays there, I think the Lad has been through more then enough
Thank you all my Friends for you Love support and Friendship you have given to me over the last few Months

A few years ago a close friend passed over, he was such a torchered soul and was never very happy. It just made me think "oh, well there isn't a happy ever after is there?" Since then I've tried to be happy most days and count the blessing that I have, which is quite a few if you actually write them down. It just made me think how many of you out there are actually looking for that "happy ever after" or do you believe you are actually living it now? Would love to hear your views..

Which movie cliche that turns you off?

The cars never start the first time when you're running away from the bad guy or mad animal.
