I have a Toshiba Satellite and I'm pretty sure now the hard drive is fried, due to a bad fan that overheated. I am going to try to replace the hard drive (easy) and fan (hard) myself. So, my questions is this, if anyone knows. The original hard drive was 60GB, 4200rpm. As long as it is the same size and interface, can I put an 80GB or even 120GB in there? Does anyone know if my OS (Windows XP) will be on my recovery disk, or will I have to buy a new copy of XP?
