It's such a heartwarming but heartwrenching movie. I watched it alone online, my husband and son have not seen it yet but I'm going to have to buy it so they can watch it too. I have 2 dogs, one of which is a yellow lab just like Marley was. My dog's name is Daisy though (and my other one is Lilly but she's a golden retriever).

After I watched the movie, I had to go and lay down with my dogs and hug them - telling them how much I love them. They show me on a daily basis how much they love me and I often take it for granted - I'm going to try to show them my love back, as much as I can.

Aren't animals just amazing? They adore us no matter what - always there, so excited to see us every time we walk in the door. What do we give them back? No matter what we do, it will never measure up to the love they show us - that's for sure!

Need Mylots Help Again!!!

Well, I've had no sleep since the night before last, which leaves me nothing to do but think. So I was laying there trying to see if I could catch a nap or something when this old country music video popped into my head....which then led me to get up and come here to find the answer! The description I am about to give may not be 100% accurate, but if you have seen this country music video, chances are you'll never forget it. It's old...probably 1980's or 90's..early 90's. I do remember it being a male group or male solo artist...male anyways..lol.

There are two little boys in the video, one african american (let's call him Jon), and the other caucasian (let's call him Joe). They become friends despite the fact that the Joe's father is in with the nasty KKK. They have to hide their friendship at all costs. Then one night the KKK goes to Jon's home and sets the house on fire. The parents make it out ok, but when Joe sees that Jon didn't make it out yet, he breaks from his father and runs inside the house to save Jon. Just after Jon gets into the house, the whole thing collapses. At the end of the video it shows Jon and Joe's mothers at their graves, which is where they finally put racism aside.

For some reason a title something along the lines of Blood Runs Red comes to mind...but I'm not coming up with anything by googling it besides heavy metal :S

I've been searching on and off for YEARS for this song....so I must say that the first person to help me find the correct song will definitely be getting best response! I'd give a million best responses to find this song again..lol

Thank you everyone!!

" How Sensitive Are You"?

I think i am too sensitive especially being a male! Now and then i read discussions that are so heartwrenching, well to me they are. They affect me in a way that i have to take a few minutes or more to compose myself. Being a man i don't like revealing this, but i couldn't get this feeling out of my mind. Thanx for reading this discussion, i feel somewhat relieved letting this out.

The 911 movie

Last night we watched this movie and I must say I found it deeply moving. I was not expecting it to have this take, from a survivors point of view and their experience. It was awesome and inspiring how they make it.
