Let me give you some details about this guy:Francis Joseph "CHIZ" Escudero is on his third term as Representative of the 1st District of Sorsogon. He is currently the Minority Leader of House of Representatives. Escudero authored 34 bills of local applications, and 15 resolutions in the House of Representatives in his last term in Congress alone. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and in Law at the University of the Philippines. He later went to Georgetown University Law Center in Washington for his Master's Degree in International & Corporate Law. He is the recipient of numerous awards such as the 2005 The Outstanding Young Men (TOYM) in Youth Leadership, 2002 Gawad Papuri Award, Legislator of the Year, (Philippine Media Researc & Progress Report, Inc.) 2000, 2000 Outstanding Public Servant of the Year Award from the National Media Statistics Research News Publication & Most Outstanding Solon (League of Press Associations of the Philippines.) 1198, 1999, 2000. He writes a regular column for Abante & Abante Tonite called "Say Chiz" and hosts "Usapang de Campanilla" on DZMM. He is a lecturer of the UP College of Law and at the Ateneo de Manila University Graduate School. In addition, he is a Partner at the Escudero, Marasigan, Vallente & Villareal Law Office & a Commander for the Philippine Navy Reserve Command. In this year's election, he is running as a member of the Genuine Opposition. When elected, he plans to support housing (for teachers, police, soldiers and the poor), livelihood programs, education, health programs for the poor and elderly, human rights and the environment.
