i have set up like ads on groups where you sell things, tried traffic exchanges, made profiles on social sites with info and pictures etc but im running out of ideas..

i refuse to go back to ebay.. i loved the success i had there but i wasnt making anything after all the fees were taken out (i dont sell really expensive stuff so if its like 10 bucks or less 9% can really kill your earnings)

so if you sell online at a site or do auctions to sell stuff what do you do to get your name out there and bring in business? i havent been at bonanzle long enough to have a following yet or be really popular and i imported my feedback % from ebay to there so they know im legit (99.5% although on ebay it says 100% but 1 negative feed back from a seller that sold me a torn up book is continuing to haunt me even though its been like 5 years!) any ideas or tips? im thinking about listing on craigslist but i really dont want to have to meet up with people to get them the item since i dont always have a car and safety issues and i plan on getting business cards after a few more sales so im not paying anything out of pocket for them.. help!!

Will you tell your spouse about your close mylot friend?

This is hypothetical and responding is totally your discretion.
Suppose, you have a very good friend here on mylot, who is of opposite gender and you two are quite close. You two kind of chat, send mails or even talk over the phone. Yes, that close but just as friends.

Will you tell your spouse about this?

What is your signature dish

What meal do you know how to cook better than anything? ( or anyone ) else?
From who you learn your signature dish? How often will you cook this signature dish? Anyone likes your signature dish?

For some restaurant, they will have their signature dish. People can come from far for its signature dish, which they like it because of it is unique and couldn't get it from others restaurant. This is a way of one of the business tricks.

Share your story of your signature dish !

They update their profile several times a day. The updates are simply "I'm going home now" or "I'm eating lunch with ... ". They usually sent it from their blackberry.
I think those updates are unnecessary at all! I only update my status when there's an interesting event going on or there's something unusual I wanna share with my friends.
Mostly about once a day or even only several times a week. I don't log in to facebook everyday though because I'm started to get bored with it..
What about you?? Let's share:)

How old are you when you first heard and use the internet?

How old are you when you first heard of the internet? Me, I think I was 14 years old back then and about to graduate from high school. I was so curious how my friends got updated pictures of their favorite celebrities and they were even boasting the number pics they have on their floppy disks. So I decided to explore, I went to the internet cafe' without even knowing how to search. Glad my instincts helped me a lot. I also thanked the net cafe attendant since he was very kind to teaching a newbie learning how to surf. :) how about you guys?

Are You Scared of The Internet?

With all of the technology we have it is so easy to become a victim.
There are so many people who want to steal your information-bank accounts, credit cards, password, seven your identity!
Anyone can find out almost anything they want about you,and more than likley you will never know!

Does this scare you?

It really does me. There are enough crazy people in this world that it is mortigying thinking who might have my home address or phone number!

Why do many people consider working on PTC programs as cheap?

They think it is below their dignity to work on PTC programs.I don't understand why they should feel that way. It is a legal way of making money, right?
Of course you will get greater satisfaction when you write articles and make money.
Though I don't work much on PTC sites right now, I hope to spend more time on these sites in future as I am getting a few referrals these days.(I need to work if I need credits for my referral clicks)

Its not just now, but also for the past few months. We always keep on calling the service provider, and they fix it. And after some month again, the problem repeats. I should be totally irritated by now, but as they say patience is a virtue. How about you guyz? Does your internet connection bugs you off as well? How do you manage the "stress" it gives you?
