She is charged with endangering her children. I know how hard lice are to get rid of, I've been there and done that with my kids, and I spent a lot of money on prescriptions to get rid of them Do you think criminal charges are appropriate, or should she be looking at child abuse and neglect charges I remember my son had lice once and they would not let me bring him back into the school even with a doctors note and an all clear status, .....it annoyed the heck out of me. they forced me to keep him out for 2 weeks Mooch Wed, 02 Apr 2008 15:39:41 GMT oneandonemakesix http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1487857.aspx My son fell asleep at school on Friday and so my husband was called to pick him up early.... Friday night he had a fever and so we gave him Motrin before he went to bed. On Saturday he basically only wanted Popsicles and Juice and yet was able to play and laugh and run around. Sunday was basically the same but then in early evening he had major diarrhea and of course a fever once again! We treated him for these and put him to bed as he asked me if he could go night night and was really upset and clingy. Monday Morning I decided to keep him from home and took him to a doctor to find out it was viral and just to push the liquids and give Tylenol if there was a fever. Today I called the Therapist and canceled her as my son slept until 8AM and then was pretty much in his own world...glued to his videos with the remote in his hand! So Not normal for him although he ate some better today from what he was like on the week-end! So, My question is..... Would you send him to school tomorrow? Have you ever had a child that was able to laugh and play and run around but was sick? This has all seemed very strange to me and confusing! What do you think of all of this!?
