Do you live in or have you visited a large country that has different time zones? Adelaide seemed to be just half an hour different from Sydney so I thought that was strange. Time difference affects me when I travel. Have you ever experienced jet lag? I flew at midday from London to Los Angeles to arrive at local time three in the afternoon. I felt so tired because my body clock told me it should have been the middle of the night. I went to bed at 8 in the evening that night to wake up at 4 in the morning.

When and Where?

It was 27 years ago, boy does that tell on me, that I lived in the 'wonderful' kingdom! Ras Tanura, Dahrhan, and Abqaiq (my spelling may be off - please forgive). Today, the memories are still wonderful. It was a place I hated to be in when we first landed after that long turbulent KLM flight, but the people, the scenery, and the way of life took it's hold on me. It will always be a place I cherish from my childhood.
There were good times and bad times, heartache and heartbreak, things done well, and things done wrong. We live and we learn.
I owe some heartfelt and sincere apologies. If you come across this scribbling of mine, or recognize the avatar, drop in to say 'HI!'. A long time passed, still a long ways to go.
Anyways, any of you out there have any recent photos from the Kingdom. I'll need to dig through my 'relics', I know I still have a few saved ryals and halalas (again, the spelling)as 'keepsakes'. These would be paper money and coins, respectively.
Anyone out there that live in the same listed cities above in the early 80s?
