Use a soft dry cloth or slightly damp it with a screen cleaning liquid ? Some use screen protectors but my screen is already quiet dirty to stick that thin transparent sheet to my screen... i also do have some minor stain marks, I need your advice, how do you remove them, I haven't tried the liquid cleanser for the monitor screens, do you think that is a good option coz it is costly!

I have a Nikon Coolpix 6.0 Megapixel Camera with a 2.4 inch LCD screen. The camera was a Christmas present from my wife two years ago and it has worked great. I always keep it in a well insulated black carrying case. A few nights ago, I went to take pictures with it and found that the screen has wierd "burn in" it and this has rendered it useless. The unfortunate thing is my wife was unable to afford the maintenance agreement on it, and it would have been outdated anyway.

Does anyone on Mylot have such a camera? Do any of you camera buff's have any idea what the best option for someone who is out of work and has no money to get another one right now? Is it a lost cause?

Let me know your thoughts.

Normally I would just go for the biggest I could afford, but lets face it, a massive screen might look impressive, but is it practical for everyday use and surfing ?

What do you have and recommend ?

I know global warming is a real problem in some areas of the world, but I'll tell you what? Today and yesterday was not anything short of BRRRR! I'm so cold. I've got the electronic fireplace on in the living room... it's a heater with an LCD screen with logs in a fireplace. The heater looks like a small fireplace insert. Very pretty. I've got the gas heat on in the bedrooms, and in the kitchen and laundry room areas to keep warm, and I am still almost shivering under my thick PJ's. Yup, it's after noon now, and I got back into my heavy PJ's because I am so cold. My feet have socks on, and they are cold.

I just just got an email about global warming, and it made me think about cold I am right now, so this is what I am thinking:

Tisk, tisk! This “global warming” sure is a problem!

Seems like we are all “suffering” its effects!

Oreo's is my name and staying warm is my game. Hope you are doing the same!

Now as a contrast just last Friday and Saturday it was almost like Summer outside, and now it is freezing cold. We must be getting an arctic blast.

Are you cold or warm right now? What is your weather like right now?

At first she liked the 32 inch flat screen, then she saw a 40 inch-42 inch that cost around $697.00. Finally we found a 42 inch flat screen that cost $598. Televisions are changing so much nowadays. You have so much to choose from LCD screen, plasma screen, HD, etc.. Honestly when did just getting to watch television become so technical?

The psp3000...the third gen...october...will you buy it....????

Sony on august 21 announced that the third gen of the psp i.e the psp3000 will be available in october worldwide. It is called the psp3000 and comes with a advanced LCD screen and a built in microphone. It will have a high resolution 4.3 inch LCD display.Sony will also bundle skype with it.Sony has also expanded the tv output slot so that gamers can play on non progressive tv with the help of a additional cable.comes in 3 colours that is pearl white, piano black and mistic silver. It will be priced somewhere at US 300$.I am already excited.so are you...???[em]thumbup[/em][em]thumbup[/em][em]thumbup[/em]

lcd tv?

Does anyone have an LCD TV? What do you think of it? Is it safe around kids?

Our TV is dying, has been for awhile now, and we're buying a new TV. We've actually already purchased our new TV, it will be delivered tomorrow. It's not an LCD, I'm not so sure I like those.

They seem to be all the rage. Best Buy doesn't even sell rear projection anymore. All they have is LCD.

My computer monitors are LCD and I don't see how an LCD TV would be safe around my kids. With the TV we currently have, they have colored on the screen and scratched it up. There's actually a crack in the screen on the side... last summer a fly got in there, lol. The kids have also spilled milk on my current TV, luckily it was only on the speaker part, so the TV still worked fine after that, but I haven't been able to get it 100% clean since, and that milk has been on there for years since the twins were toddlers.

Considering how small my kids still are, I'm thinking an LCD screen wouldn't last very long in my house. So we purchased a rear projection instead.

I'm just wondering if anyone has an LCD TV and if you have small kids in your home. How well does the TV stand up to the kids abuse?
