These people love to try new things and some of them actually go to great extremes to do so. I think these people that are always doing new things are adventurous. I am to an extent but there are so things I won't try. What about you? Would you say you are adventurous?

Do you wear seat belt when you are in the car? Helmet when on motorcycle?

Malaysia has made it obligatory for all passengers to wear
seat belts when in the car. If it was caught, the driver and
passengers will be compounded. If it was caught 2nd time, the
compound will be RM2000.00

For the motorbikes, the rider and pillion rider has to wear
helmet at all time. But when riding in the villages or estate
road, many ignore the laws.

How is the situation in your country? Perhaps you can share
what will be the actions taken or any experiences pertaining
to this. It is aboslutely dangerous for not wearing seat belts.
It can save lives... will share some stories at the comments later!

Would you marry someone with a disability

Would you marry someone with a <a href="http://www.statedisabilityinsuranceonline.com" alt="State Disability Insurance" target="_blank">disability</a>?

Which Organ Or Limb You Think Is Least Important In Human Body?

I Know everyone will say all limbs and organs are equally important. Nature has created Man just perfect, nothing more nothing less. But Still there are occasions when we must have felt that, we can still lead our life without much discomfort, even if we were to lose one limb or organ. I have heard people console accident victims saying, that he should feel happy and be greatful to God for having saved him from a more serious injury. Which do you think is that limb or organ without which you feel, u can still carry on your life without too much discomfort?

Extra limbs? Genetic problems? Two faces?

I have read recently two articles about two little girls in India that shocked me.
One was born with an extra pair of limbs that got finally removed and now she is ok.

The other girl was born with two faces, and her parents aren´t allowing doctor to do anything about it because they believed her to be a reincarnation of an Indian godess. The girl might or might not leave, only time tell.

My questions are: is this happening more often now? Is it happening only in India or all over the world? Do you know any other related articles about this?

She went to the hospital and they put it in a sling that offers little support and she is so very much pain. Her arm is a complete break rather than a mild fracture. I broke my arm when I was a teenager and my wrist when I was in my twenties. Both times I had a plaster of Paris supporting my broken limb. I think that my mum needs a hard plaster and a more supportive sling. She had to sleep sitting up last night! I just wish that the hospital could make her arm feel more comfortable and protected. What do you think?

Have you ever had a broken limb?
What sort of plaster did you have on it?

Thanks.

Believe it...Or Not...

I watched a current affairs program not too long ago and on it was a man who had a condition called Body Integrity Identity Disorder (BIID.
People who have BIID are usually very frustrated with a certain part of their body usually a limb. The problem can be of such an extent that the afflicted person will spend their days wishing for nothing more than to eliminate the particular body part and some have resorted to desperate measures in order to dispose of said limb as the gentleman on the news story did.

After approaching several doctors over the years requesting for his right leg to be amputated and getting refused of course because no medico would perform such an operation on a perfectly healthy limb, he decided to take action himself.
He waited until his wife and kids were out of the house, he obtained some dry ice, submerged his leg in it for six hours until it was practically dead which is the result discovered by his wife upon her return home. He was rushed to hospital and although he begged the doctors to amputate, they of course did all they could to save his limb but in the end the man got his wishes and lost the bottom half of his right leg.

The man in question claims that the day of the amputation was the best day of his life despite all the pain he put himself through because now he was finally rid of the offending limb and along with this he had eliminated a great deal of anxiety; he claimed that he did not feel ‘complete’ until the leg was gone! Go figure!

It is ever so hard to wrap my mind around someone feeling this way but according to medical authorities this disorder is a proven condition and the people who have it experience feelings which are very real. There have been many stories of people with this condition who have somehow cut a healthy limb to relieve their disturbance.

I had not heard of anything like this before and I was amazed as I listened to the man describe his sentiments. It would have to be the weirdest thing I have seen on television in a long time. Have you ever heard of this disorder? What is the weirdest or most interesting thing you have seen on television?

A leg or an arm?

My friend is a soldier. He was talking to me about his fellow soldier that in a hospital right now because of a bullet in his left leg. The doctors said that his leg should be cut off to avoid the infection caused by the bullet in his leg. The family of the guy is hesitant about it but they have no choice but to agree with the doctors. If you were to choose between a leg or an arm, which one would you give up and why? Personally, I would choose to give up an arm since I am a mobile person and love traveling.

Have You Ever Broken A Bone?

I haven't, and I find it extremely odd.
I was one of those kids who would climb trees, jump off my roof and fall off my bike constantly,
and yet I've never broken a bone, or sustained a serious illness or injury.

Have you?
