He recently go into making jewerly (I guess thanks to me LOL) he had to come and show me what he was working on for my mother's day gift so far he has made me a necklace and a matching braclet and he is working on another necklace for me they are both really nice I know when I wear them people will ask me where I got it and I will very proudly say my hubby made it. I know we where made for us God certainly knew what He was doing when He pared the two of us up. Did you get anything special? Do your children make you gifts or are they store bought? What did you get your mother? My oldest child made a class project this year for Mother's Day. They all had to find a recipe (or many) of their favorite food or their Mother's favorite food and then the teacher put them all together and bound them all together and each child had an essay about their mother as the "introduction" page. It was really cool. My other school aged child didn't bring his home he "forgot" [em]lol[/em] and the youngest usually makes something with dad and I don't know what it is since they are all still sleeping. My husband gave me a new wedding set, it's very pretty. I gave my mother a new outfit. She never buys things like that unless she needs them. I don't really do cards often because they have gotten so expensive and it's just more clutter so when I go today to see her I will stop and buy some flowers for her. It is a self portrait with a paragraph about My Special Mother. It reads.. My Mother is 40 years old(Not yet, few years off.)She weighs 5 pounds (Not since birth) here is where my child gets it right. Her hair is brown Her favorite color is purple.
