Today I decided to go through them all. Age and origin doesn't bother me but please there needs to be some mutual interest at least. One by one as I opened their started discussion pages I saw nothing which grabbed my attention so I didn't even need to bother to see if they respond to their own discussions or not. Anyway I deleted the lot as there was not one discussion which took my attention. What makes you send out a friendship request to someone you've never interacted with on the board? Or like me do you only send them to people you feel you share an interest with? However, I feel an added excitement when I become the first one to respond to a discussion started by one of the dear friends here. There is always a thrill in being the first one to respond. However, sometimes while writing and subsequently submitting my response, it so happens that I miss the bus by few seconds/minutes and come at number two, when my response finally gets reflected on the screen. In my opinion, if you are the very first respondent in a discussion, every time the discussion page is opened, your response will flash and may be read by larger number of users. Do you also wish to be number one, while responding to certain friends’ discussions and does it make you gladder to see that yours is the very first response in a discussion. Please share your views. I personlly, have a lot to be Thankful for this yr. and having you here as friends in my life makes it all worth while for sure. As many of you know we recently sold our Condo and was able to move into a house, so this is a Great thing for sure. My husband and I are also still employed even as we continue to watch so many of our friends around us having to change jobs as well. And even with some of the Health struggles I have had to endure this yr. such as Cataract surgery, things came out great and I have a lot to be Thankful for this as well, especially since I no longer have to wear glasses. So what are you Thankful for, and what are your plans for today? I have to work 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. since I work as a Dispatcher for a Taxi company, but my husband will be busy at home fixing a nice Turkey dinner for us as well.
