I told her I'd go with her and split all the costs. She said NO, no way! I think she needs some time alone. I told her she would never have to see me, I would just make her trip half as expensive. No way! The thing is, we are really close friends and we have always talked about going to this place together. She has had a very difficult year and she does enjoy her time alone, I know this about her. But I also think it would be good for her to have me available if she needs a friend. (and did I mention saving her money?) She wont let me go. :( :( Thu, 18 Sep 2008 15:01:25 GMT pajamamaama http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1562026.aspx ok i own a property that has a few rentals on it. i worked with this girl and thought ok she is alittle strange but she needed a place to live she said that she had a couple of cats me thinking like 2 said ok no problem are the indoor. well she moves in and brings 11 cats with her. i didnt relize it at first and then i walked over to that part of the property and cats were looking out all the windows. well we said no way to many. still she keeps bring back more. ok there is no ac in the house we use window units and you have to get your own. no big deal the pawn shops sell them for like 35.00 each. she has got one yet 3 months later. the cats are locked up all day in the house no air no window open. i found out that they have had 4 die already. they have put bug spray that you use out side the house on the cats trying to kill fleas. all the cats when they do escape and get out side look sick. the house smells so bad we will never get the smell out. it is horriable. we have no animal control, no animal shelter, no body to call to help these cats. now i think they are moving and leaving them all here. the pound charges 25.00 an animal to be dropped off i cant afford that. why are people so horriable? I felt so alone and scared, and still do. never met any of these Drs and they were curt and cold. Why do Drs and most nurses make you feel like a nobody? When you are scared, and in pain that's about the last thing you need. Has anyone else had Vascular Stints put in with a cathater? How are you doing now? Were your "unknown" Drs and nurses curt to you too ? How did that make you feel? Made me feel if I died they would have an extra bed. How should I have handled it. Being that scared almost made me feel incapable of standing up for myself. What do you think you would have done? My good friend was there throughout both ordeals for me. Now her step-father passed last night, and it is my turn to be there for her. I don't want to smother her, but I am doing all that I can to make her know that I am available if she needs me. Do you think this is the right thing for me to do? I don't drive, so I cannot help her there-and she doesn't need that. Is it OK to just be there when she needs someone to talk to or a shoulder to cry on? I'm not really a people person so to speak, but I like to see how I can make someone happy by helping to resolve their problems and I've spent many hour contemplating on the workings of the human mind and why we do what we do. I have not been able to meet anyone yet. I really want my son to have a play mate cuz he is so bored and he loves other children. I can see the sadness in his eyes and he is so bored he just wants to sleep all the time. I have spoken to so many doctors about this and they all tell me to go to my church .. but i dont go to chruch and i dont want to sign up for that. Is is wierd to aproach strangers and ask them if we can exchange phone numbers for our children to have play mates with eachother? i feel weird doing that but what would you think if some lady asked you that? would you feel wierd or think im wierd. is it just plain wierd?
