We are supposed to be our child's first teacher - even in class.

A mom just told me about this huge puddle in the school playground (from the rain we had). She has a rowdy 3 year old son, and he got wet but had a blast playing in the puddle. Meanwhile, some other parents got very angry at her because their kids got splashed from his splashing. The mom's opinion was that kids are kids and that it's good for them to explore in puddles . . . so if the other moms had a problem with their child getting wet, THEY should have removed their children from that area to keep them from getting wet.

I agree about playing in puddles . . . but let's keep it in context. This is a school situation, and I think the boy should have been taught to RESPECT others and to NOT splash while other kids were around. Just because it was a good opportunity for him to play, that doesn't mean that he could do whatever he wants at someone else's expense. I don't blame the other parents for getting angry.

That's just my opinion. What do you think of this situation?

Aren't these just cute, as cute can be? Spotted these, on leaving the Bristol Vegan Fayre, back in May.
So, maybe you have some canine related photos you would like to post...

Splish Splash

When you are driving in wet weather, do you ever take into consideration pedestrians who may be splashed by your passing vehicle? Do you try to avoid splashing pedestrians with your vehicle?

Have you ever accidently splashed any pedestrians and if so, how did you feel? When I was in college I drove a city bus and I once drenched about 25 people with a mountain of water from my bus. I didn't mean to do it and I felt horrible about it. I try not to splash people with my vehicle.

Have you ever been splashed by a vehicle whilst you were walking? Were you in the city, country, etc? Was it warm weather splash, or icy slush splash? Did you make any gestures or exclamations toward the driver who splashed you?

Do you believe in Puttapadri Saibaba.

This question is for my Hindu Friends, do you believe in Saibaba in Puttapadri, he has done a lot of good to the society, and in fact he helped Chennai city to get water from AndhraPradesh, and his educational Institutions and hospitals are doing a very good job, but at the same time there has been a scandal in his ashram and three devotees were shot dead some years back, so what do you think?

Did anyone catch the first show of the new season of Stargate Atlantis?

Yay! It's back and it was great, full of lots of exciting things and Teyla is finally back! And with a baby no less, wonder how that will work out. And with Kanaan too.

When their cloaked jumper was missing, did anyone think that it was Michael that took it to escape in before his ship was destroyed? I bet we see him again sometime!

How about when Woolsey told Sam that she was relieved of command and that HE was taking her place? I'm surprised that she didnt' start laughing in his face! It should be interesting to see what kind of commander he is. He hasn't inspired confidence in any way so far!

I am so glad the new season has started and I can't wait to see more episodes!!

How about you?

I knocked a cup of coffee all over my desk, papers on it and keyboard. That's not even mentioning the large puddle on the floor, the chair I'm sitting in and the cushion that goes behind my back! One little cup of coffee and it took me 15 minutes to clean it up. What a clutz huh? Well, I can't sit here without my cup of coffee so I'm just going to have to learn to be more careful...yeah right!

What is the dumbest thing you did today? Do you consider it something major or just a minor boo boo like I just did? Where you able to "take care" of it fast or are you going to have to deal with it?

waht breed of dog do u like??

for me i like the breed of chuwawa and puudle
