I'm trying to eat more salad in my diet, but it seems like I am getting bored with it so fast. Lettuce, tomato, cucumber and salad dressing. Over and over and over. You can only change the dressing so much before your eating the same over and over and over.

Help someone? Any suggestions?

Does your cooking vary according to the time of year?

[em]happy[/em] It is fall where I live in the US, and soon to be winter. Since it gets cold here during this time of year, and since a different variety of produce is now in season, I tend to cook differently. I love to make homemade soups and stews this time of year, or chili...not things I normally make during hotter weather.

Winter squash, turnips, yams, citrus fruits and such are now among the freshest "in season" foods available, so I also use these now. I also bake more, as the oven heat is welcome this time of year, but not in the summer time.

How about you? Each country or area has season changes, even if the temperatures don't vary that much, as they do here. Do you tend to cook differently according to the time of year? If so, how?

Do you just go for lunch/dinner set?

or

Do you like to order appetizer first then look at the menu againand order main course?

Do you order dessert for your meal usually?

I like to do lunch set if I just go find something to eat during the work lunch time, otherwise, I like to order the special ones in the menu, what about you?

How To Lose Weight?

What is the best way to lose weight according to you? The woman is Tracy Grimes of Sterling Heights Michigan who bought the packaged lettuce from a Kroger supermarket. She was all set to open it but noticed something moving inside...a small frog. Getting in touch with the news media right away, a news team came over to witness the event of her opening the bag of lettuce to verify that she wasn't making the story up. She also called up the Kroger representatives who stupidly told her to mail the package and frog back to them to get a refund...she didn't want to do that as she felt the frog would die en route in the mail..so instead, the frog was set free while the news team was there...you can see the article and a video at the link I provide.

Uh...have any of you gotten more than you bargained for when buying food?

But I have some friends way back then who like eating fresh onions, and salad with much onions. But there are lots of benefits eating onions as the saying goes "an onion a day keeps a stomach cancer away," aside from that onion could help maintain healthy bones just like milk, it boost our immune system, it's good treatment for anemia because it contain high in iron and a lot more healthy benefits.

Do you like eating onions? If you, how often do you eat?

What is the last delicious meal you had?

I was wondering this early morning what to eat breakfast. i don't anything on the fridge to cook. and out of supplies. i have some meat but i don't eat meat any more. only my family eats them. so the only thing i see are eggs and fresh vegetables. then i opted for vegetables instead. i have this fresh lettuce sitting on the ref. i just washed it, didn't even blanch it. shred it into small pieces or bits and then just added some olive oil. and i had boiled potatoes. these are the small round potatoes. i just peeled them and put them into the lettuce salad. i don't know if we can call it salad cause there are no other vegetables in it beside the lettuce. and i just love the taste and the potatoes well with the salad. i ate a lot of the lettuce and the potato. i didn't enjoy boiled potatoes without any sugar and other things added to it. mostly i eat only mash potatoes but this time it taste well with me. i really love it. i even loved it than the meal i had on one restaurant. so though it is really cheap i say that it is much better than the food i buy in restaurants. i will definitely do this salad more often. but i am planning to add some shredded cheese , some macaroni pasta in it to make it taste better though it is not that bad with lettuce only.

Do you sometimes eat with your fingers, no spoon or fork?

or you find the idea revolting. I do eat with my fingers. There are some dishes that are best eaten not using spoon and fork. When eating lobster and prawns, I find it enjoyable peeling them with my fingers. This is only when I am alone or with the family. When eating out in restaurants or parties, I follow the established way of using spoon and forks.
