Which game are you most looking forward to getting?

I am most likely to receive Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and Super Mario Galaxy for the Nintendo Wii, as well Castlevania: Order of Occlesia for the Nintendo DS. I hope that my friend gets LittleBigPlanet for his PS3 because I don't have a PS3 and I really would like to try that game out.

So which game do you hope to receive and why?

How Much Would You Pay for A Sony PS3?

A friend of mine has a PS3 and a Wii at home. He said he does not use the PS3 so I asked him if he could sell it to me. He said yes but he wanted me to give him how much I would like to buy it. I don't know how much it cost at the moment and how much would someone buy it if it has been used for lets say 3 months. Any suggestions?[em]happy[/em][em]thumbup[/em][em]happy[/em]

Tonight I'm the babysitter

The wife is out tonight with her sister attending a party that will somehow end up being an all night card game. As you can see, I'm stuck at home blogging on MyLot, babysitting a 7 year old and two 13 year old girls.

It's going to be a loooooong night.

I can see that my son has dodged this bullet by ducking out the house earlier today so he can spend the night hanging out at his friends house to play the newest "Grand Theft Auto" game on xbox360. Not like boys really need encouragement to be criminals. So I wont have any support by my only other male household member.

No wife, no son and three little girls that wont shut up. Hours on hours of chatter about how fat each other looks and boys at school. Who likes what Jonahs Brother and the constant playing of Hannah Montana music reminding me that I'm getting really old.

Uh Oh...silence.

The three girls have disappeared from the living room and the TV is off. What happened? Oh? There they are standing behind me. I guess the entertainment with each other has become too boring so they decided to turn on me.

Here it comes.

The million questions.

What are you doing? Are you writing about us? How come you type like my baby brother? Daddy, your hair is really gray. Uncle, can I style it for you? Daddy, why did you eat all of my chocolates from my Halloween bucket?

So, I decided to distract them by making them think with uncertainty about something they can talk amongst themselves. To make things interesting I started telling them about how they were born and how I remember meeting them for the first time after they were...hatched.

Essentially I told them they were actually purchased as eggs from "Kmart" as a "Blue Light Special" and they were hatched at home inside the microwave oven. The youngest girl was starting to believe it, but the older girls weren't buying it. So I had to make my story more convincing by causing them to remember the birth of their younger brother and sisters. They had no problem recollecting the baby inside of mommy for nine months, but after that it was my duty to fill them in to how the baby they saw later on came about.

"Your mommy didn't go straight to the hospital, first she had to go to the Kmart baby distribution center to have the egg that was to be your younger siblings removed and then have a bar coded label stuck on them. After the egg was wrapped properly, Daddy had to take it to the customer service counter and buy the egg while mommy was at the hospital resort to get some much needed rest".

At this point, they are giggling and not believing me completely, but once again talking amongst themselves comparing notes to each other about how babies are born.

I figure I can get another half hour of peace before they turn on me again. This time it might happen while I'm resting and I might wake up looking like a beaten h00ker from Florida that was laying face down on a Macy's make up counter.

Little girls, make up kits and sleeping daddies can be a bad combination.

...especially for the daddy.

Will somebody please help me.

Sony PlayStation 3: What to Expect From Sony's New Gaming Console

Imagine playing with a gaming console with extremely realistic graphics and sound.
