We had a fatal stabbing here yesterday morning and I am still in shock. I know both of the people involved and it's horrible from both sides. It's made so much worse by people's attitudes. They've all decided on a verdict without any details. No-one seems to realize that it was a messed up situation that had tragic results but it could have been anyone. The victim isn't an angel by any means and as far as I see it he brought it on himself. Of course I feel horrible and I'm going to miss him but Bobby's life is forever ruined and it's like rats deserting a sinking ship. All of a sudden he's this horrible monster whose never done any good which is a load of crap. It was a stupid fight that got out of hand and I wish more people would just..... I'm not even sure what. Maybe just keep their opinions to themselves until ALL the details are in. And realize that it could have happened to them as easy as it happened to Arek & Bobby. I've tried to mention that to a few " friends" and got flack for it. I might have even lost one friend who can't seem to understand why I don't just agree to take Bobby and shoot him. I'm so dissappointed in people. Not just Arek & Bobby but most of the whole town. Please, read this article about sky rocketing knife crime in the UK. http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2007380447,00.html As a solution, it is suggested in the article that mandatory sentencing be legislated for individuals audacious enough to carry a knife. I suggest responsible honest citizens be liscensed and permited to carry a concealed handgun. Further, that these legally armed citizens be allowed to shoot anyone who tries to rob them at knife point. Based on crime rates in the USA which went DOWN where ever legal concealed carry is allowed, the fact a criminal would never know when he might be facing an armed citizen would reduce knife crime in the UK. What's your idea of how knife crime could be reduced in the UK? When giving your answer, remember, if a criminal can't get a gun, they use a knife, so,certainly if they can't use a knife they will use a rock. Your answer should be useful for no matter what the criminal might choose as his weapon. For this reason I like honest citizens being allowed to use a gun and any criminal with a gun gets thrown under the jail. The waiting grew long and tense. Maria- the bride- failed to come. Not even a shadow of her appeared. Antonio- the bridegroom sensed something wrong. He rushed to Maria's residence but found her house empty. Somebody tipped Antonio that Maria was with Jose on a boat in the shoreline ready to elope. Mad with anger, Antonio caught in time the run-away pair. With his bolo, Antonio stabbed to death Jose, mortally wounded Maria and her mother Petra who acted as her accomplice. Indians in Melbourne are being attacked and stabbed by Ozs.. Yesterday, another Indian was robbed and stabbed..he had just left the railway station when two men carrying weapons approached him and demanded money! As he searched through his bag to hand over his wallet he was stabbed in the abdomen!! And still, no actions are being taken by the Commission.. What do you think should be done with such people!!
