My family starts decorating as soon as Thanksgiving day. This year we put the tree up the day before Thanksgiving. We started with out outside decorations on Thanksgiving night and finished them by Saturday afternoon. It seems we run out of day time really fast this time of year. My son loves it when it is time to decorate. To me it makes the world seem happy and beautiful, even if it is just for a few days. I love christmas and hate it when I have to un-decorate.
