Benjamin was born as an old man although he was a baby. He grows younger and younger and finally he was a baby. Do you want to be the same? I just want to grow old when time goes by. It's already sad to see the old people die. But I think it is much more upset to see babies die. So I think the normal growth is the best. Frankly, I was surprised to learn it as it seemed it's a famous movie anyway. But perhaps famous movies can also represent that they are too complicated for others to understand. I found it incredibly touching, and very well made, but I also saw some places where I would say it was heavy-handed in its production (a subtler message might have worked better for me, I mean). Among the films that are Academy worthy, this one is a breath of fresh air. What's with the plethora of movies this year that leaned on the dark side (e.g. The Dark Knight). Slumdog Millionaire is witty and insightful and brims with hope and humanity.
