I am glad that I passed it anyway and got a favorable grade from my teacher. But honestly, I really can't figure it out. I had learned it by rote that is why I could pick up from the exams. What about you?

Huffington Post Article Attacks Palin's Son Trig

A lot of people are dismissing the idea that Sarah Palin might have resigned to save her family from the attacks they have suffered in the media but this article that was published in the Huffington Post is an example of just how low some of these people will sink.

The post, which was pulled off the site after it was discovered by the Free Republic, is entitled "Palin Will Run in '12 on More Retardation Platform". In the article, the author, Erik Sean Nelson, who is a regular contributor to the Huffington Post, shamelessly makes fun of everyone from Down's syndrome children to Wal-Mart greeters.

You can read the text of the article here:

If this article had been written by a conservative about a liberal politician or their family, there would have been a major outcry and a call for his firing at the very least. I don't know why this attack on a minority (developmentally disabled) is not labeled a hate crime.

Most importantly, it shows what depths of despicable behavior some on the left are capable of sinking to in order to attack Sarah Palin and her family. To go after the tiniest of them, and the least capable of defending himself - a baby - is the lowest form of cowardice I can imagine.

Can anyone tell me why this man should not be fired? Will those on the left speak out against this or will they find a way to excuse it?

What do you think was the most difficult subject during high school?

There are a lot of level or grade during high school or during secondary education. We encounter a lot of projects, and many other programs to prepare us for the university. For me, the subject that I consider the most difficult is trigonometry. I just don't know why but there is really something about the subject that for me is hard to comprehend. What for you is the most difficult subject in high school?

Should kids be allowed to use calculators in school?

Do you think students should be allowed to use calculators? I have real mixed feelings about this. It is sad how many kids to do not know simple addition/subtraction/multiplication/division. But, I also understand that it is important to know how to use a calculator.

I believe once a student shows that they know how to do the math on their own, they can use the calculator for harder computations.

What do you think?

Cutest moment at the RNC

On Wednesday night at the RNC, the camera was on Sarah Palin's family in the audience quite a bit. One shot was of Palin's 7-year-old daughter, Piper, who was at the time holding Palin's 4 month old son, Trig. While the camera was on them, Piper licked her hand and started smoothing down the fine baby hairs on Trig's head. Did anyone else see this endearing shot?

Math Majors =P

hi.. i am a college students..., and i am having a difficulties in my subject math.. can anyone help how to love math? because for me, i hate math very very much.. that's why i want to know if there's a way how to love mathematics.

I am right now working on sine, cosine, and etc.

They are a bit confusing to memorize, which is adj/hyp, opp/hyp, adj/opp, opp/adj, etc.

So, what is the easiest and best way to remember trigonometric ratios?

Best answer gets a Best Response. All other good answers get a + !

Thanks for your help in this, as I am getting a bit confused.

Why do most of you HATE MATH?

I don't know - I always loved math from a young age, but many despise it!
