I really like black and white photography but I also really like color photography. I want a digital camera.

One that would work well with adobe photoshop elements 6 (that's all I have right now).

Any suggestions and links would be helpful.

Also, I would want a camera where I could actually go to the store and buy it.

Should I start my own business in photography?

I work at a portrait studio now and have been in photography for the last 2 months, part of me wants to go to school and learn enough about photography and how to run a small business.

The other part is worried that photography is a dying business with so many people doing their own photography with digital cameras & photoshop.

Is it worth all that school ,money & time?

Photography?

I am really interested in learning about photography.

Any tips like what type of camera to get that is not too expensive.

Is the thinker real or a imaginative person?

There was a statue of a man with one elbow resting on one leg and his head resting on his hand, and he was named the thinker.

What's the difference between art and craft? Do they merge into one another?

I reckon that a craft is something that turns into a useful object, whereas art is just for decoration. But if you painted a design onto a pottery plate that you made, which would that be?

What do you other crafters think?

Drawing.. have you ever?...

I lost the passion of drawing, in my younger teen years i used to do it all the time. art and football was the two things i did the most but a didn't like a teacher, so i didn't take it as a gcse option.

Recently i've been getting back into art, after starting an online community and now i'm wondering if others have done the same or simular?

I should take it back up + draw more often. lol =)

any interested in art? show me some if you'd like to share you talent. =)

Which evokes more feelings, visual art or creative writing?

I indulge in both but my friends had a debate the other night one an art student and another a freelance writer.

They had a debate and ask for my opinion. I didn't answer right-a-way because I hate having to choose between the two. So I'm asking for a litte feedback.
Which one stirs up more emotions for you, visual art or creative writing?
And what lead you to you to that choice?

Visual Art Terms

what is the definition of shade as it relates to visual arts
