During the last twelve years I've seen and heard so many times people accusing parents, care givers, etc of child abuse. It doesn't matter what the they are doing it is still cried out at them. Parents are in a no win situation now a days. Far too often no matter what they do someone yells or harasses them saying they are abusing their child while those who are actually doing child abuse are over looked.

It's gotten very crazy with this. If someone doesn't like what a parent is doing they scream child abuse. I've seen it happen with a host of things including:

1. Not breastfeeding or breastfeeding
2. Giving children solids before a year, not giving them solids till they are that old.
3. Spanking or not spanking
4. Scolding or not scolding
5. For giving time outs or for not giving them
6. having a kid outside playing or again not outside
7. giving your child certain foods/drinks or for not giving them.
8. Drinking, smoking, watching tv, listening to music or any other things that the child might see you do.

The list goes on. Is anyone else tired of this? Why can't people learn that just because we don't agree doesn't mean it's abuse.

Add to that you keep crying child abuse sooner or later people will ignore you. Just like the child that cried wolf, the real child who needs help will be ignored.

What would you like to know about myLot?

The 48 hour period is over, and responses are no longer being accepted! New responses will not be answered, so please read the multiple answers I've already given here. Thanks!

I think it's time we have a revealing question and answer session with the members of myLot. Sound like fun? I think so!

My username is Crash, and you can learn a little more about me by visiting my profile. My official position at myLot shall remain a mystery for now, but let's just say I know enough to answer pretty much any question you throw my way. If I don't know the answer, then I'll do my best to bug the right people at myLot to get it answered, or I'll make something up :)

So here's what I want to do. I will respond to any question posted in this discussion (subject to a few ground rules) in the next 48 hours. It might take me a little while to get through them all, but as long as the question is posted within 48 hours, I will answer it.

Here are the ground rules...

1) Only one question per myLot member, so make it a good one!
2) Don't post the same question that has already been asked by someone else.
3) Feel free to comment under someone else's question, but follow-up questions are not allowed in the comments
4) Keep it clean and respectful! I carry around a big delete button in my pocket, and I will definitely use it on any response or comment that I feel doesn't contribute posititvely to our discussion (of course, I also know how to use the plus/minus buttons in the discussion rating system). Keep in mind that the less times I have to delete something, the more likely I am to engage in similar discussions in the future!
5) I'll throw an extra $20 into the Paypal account of whoever gets my best response. The best response will go to the most original, thought-provoking question about myLot.
6) Let's have fun!

So let me get this started by asking the first question...

What would YOU like to know about myLot???

Anyone had their tubes tied and still got pregnant ?

I am pregnant with my second baby, and i am almost 28. I dont want anymore kids after this one. Two is totally enough for me. I just didn't want to have an only child, and this makes my daughter a big sister :)

I will be having a c section again, and told them i want my tubes tied at the same time. I have heard a FEW stories since making the decision about other women who have HAD their tubes tied and STILL gotten pregnant.

Just how well does having your tubes tied prevent pregnancy?!

17 centimetres. Have you ever run out of cigarettes and couldn't buy any
so you rolled up your butts to keep smoking?

Have you ever run completely out of papers and everything
and just been stuck with having to do without?

I'm in that position right now and I'm trying to decide
whether or not to just quit and be done with it.

It's such a stupid habit and costs so much money and
I'm getting tired of running and feeling like I'm going
to pull my hair out wanting a cigarette so bad.

Does anyone else feel this way?

Would you consider someone's suggestion, that you should join the U.S. army? You will get great benefit, and you can serve your country too. Some of my friends have considered this question, and they are in dilemma. They don't go to war, but they definitely want a reliable job. What is your opinion on that?

Looking for an online job, work from that can be done from anywhere in the world

Hi everybody,

I've spent several years and hundreds of $$ trying to find out the best ways to earn money from home, you name it, ptr, ppc, pts, hand crafts, etc, ran over some scams as well.

I do not live in the States but I do have a legal documentation to border cross, have a valid US address, I'm registered at the IRS as a non resident tax payer, so practically I can register under the conditions of a US resident, but international online job opportunities may be better, I don't know.

Would like to know all of your experiences if you wish to discuss, and any site you may want to promote and can prove it makes some income, I'll be happy to sign under your referral.

Best wishes and happy business.

What is the best online business?

Do you know some honest paying online business?
